It has been like this for weeks. None of us know why. There have been lots of comments about it on this forum.

No reply from Betfair. The person from Betfair who used to talk to us has left the company.

Thank you.

The problem has been ongoing for weeks. As i spoke to customer sevice who issued tickets to my account for my trouble is it not a worry that they are still telling big fat lies to the customer. Once agin the TRUST issue has to be a concern and if they will tell porkies about this issue then what other issues are getting the same treatment.
Report lawslaw July 3, 2012 8:28 AM BST
So is this a network wide or localised issue?

I remember a few years back on William Hill there were all sorts of Gremlins and connection issues between 3 a.m and 7a.m several nights a week but the same issues didn't seem to occur on other skins on iPoker like Titan or Blackbelt, and it turned out to be a WH only  problem for a few months.

It would be interesting to see if other skins like Hey are having the same issues.
Report lawslaw July 3, 2012 8:39 AM BST
In fact just to add, I remember several times when the William Hill Tables crashed whilst I was running deep in MTTS I used to log on to Titan and watch my tables just blind themselves out. So I know for 100% it was a William Hill issue.

I think I will have to go back to playing iPoker more again soon because the fun has just gone out of Betfair with these  software issues/ horrendous lag.

Jeezzzzz.......  never thought If I moved back to an iPoker skin it would be because of the better software, that REALLY says it all about how bad Betfairs is.

Report Santtu55 July 3, 2012 9:24 AM BST
I think that problem is in ongame / Betfair connection, because this lack happens very often. I have 24Mb connection ( 16real) and all other sites work very well.

The issue with freezing every time you move tables is absolutely farcical. Been going on for weeks, and they havent even said something, let alone done something.

I used to multitable 30 man STT's and you genuinely can no longer do it due to the freezing. Likewise short handed MTT's.

i actually agree with this post, and it's what made me decide to give online up ,well almost . just have the odd game ,and for whatever reason usually cash in  the first sng i play then just laugh at what follows , then uninstall for 3months come back and laugh me bollox of again.

LOL. Law betfair pay loads to the company that issue that cert. And have you ever heard the regulator get back to any customer on this site( they pay him loads 2 btw )
Report lawslaw July 4, 2012 7:19 PM BST
I think those who say the site is **** are the ones talking out their arse.

I have the stats that prove to me that over thousands of hands of various samples the RNG is fair and accurate. Other players who put in volume come to the same conclusions.

I have NEVER seen evidence from ANYONE who moans the site is fixed. Please, if any one can show me over 1,000 hand samples, for example, that your AA gets cracked AIPF against a pair 40% of times then show it. It it gets cracked 4 out of 4 times in one night then GTFO.

To these moaners that they think it is fixed......show proof over large samples.....oh wait......you can't.

POP makes me laugh...he really is bonkers innit ?

I like Charlie and Margaret over the road, they are getting on a bit, so every couple of days I check that they is okay, and ask if they is needing anything from the shops.

If over a 12 month period every time I knocked on their door Margaret poured boiling hot fat from the chip pan down my trouser front, while Charlie repeatedly hit me with a baseball bat, I'd probably stop going over there.

I deffo wouldnt moan about it on their Facebook page.

POP, where in any of my posts do I back Betfair to the hilt, please find just one post. My only point that Ive been making is simply this; if you are convinced Betfair/Ongame is fraudulent with their RNG and its not like that anywhere else, then why do you continue to play here and not them other sites where they are fair? PLZ PLZ explain why this is the case!!!!
Report 666_v July 5, 2012 1:44 PM BST
I'm on Charlie and Margaret's Twitter feed and they say that someone from across the road is always trying to pinch their money by short changing them an apparent friendly a trip to the shops.

Since then this 'someone' from across the road will not leave them alone and thus they have to take action generally on a weekly basis.
Report singlecask July 5, 2012 6:11 PM BST
JC30 you state that you have STATS over few thousand hand samples that makes you sure nothing wrong on here. LOL few thousand what 1 or 2 ? and what is it you are looking for when you ring your stats ?

Have you done stats at uni for example ?

Report lawslaw July 5, 2012 7:50 PM BST
I have made a similar post in another thread a while back, but I use coinflips as a good sample of if the RnG is good or not.

This is because what ever the stakes  i.e $5,$10,$20 the chance of winning one before a card is dealt is 50/50. There is no edge to a coinflip.  After you play 10,000  you should in theory be close to 50/50 if the RnG is good.

My figures for my combined stakes coinflips last year are: Played: 11,629 Buyins $141,860  Winnings $142,506  Difference + $646

There is a big enough sample on this to reduce the variance and make me feel the RnG is fair. That is proof enough for me.

To all those who doubt the fairness of the RNG, just  post some samples you may have built up over a decent number of hands.

I say it again, I hear people moan but I have never seen one shred of proof that the RNG is not fair.
Report jc30 July 5, 2012 9:57 PM BST
Singlecask, in what post do i mention that I have stats????? Ive never made such a statement! if you can find a post of me mentioning that I have stats, then everyone on here is witness that I'll transfer u $50. Before you startposting, get your facts right u sad idiot!
Report chipfire227 July 6, 2012 10:23 AM BST
Numerous people have posted their EV graphs over large samples to show there is nothing untoward. I've played around 30,000 STT's on Betfair, and over and beyond the usual variance, as has been stated by others, the EV graph never goes anywhere near areas which would lead to any doubt that the RNG is fine.

On the other hand those who say it is R1gg3d never produce a shred of evidence beyond their own bitter ramblings. They also never answer the question if you think it is crooked and have done for ages why do you still play here week after week ?
Report NickFiickTheOriginal July 6, 2012 11:18 PM BST
Back to the original post.

Multi-tabling MTTs here is not EV at the time it freezes.

Been at least a month probably longer.

Freezes all action on all tables just 4 a table move. Can take quite a time to sort. Minutes.
Really awful if turbo. High blinds & must put the rest of stack in but cannot coz frozen.

As 4 the rest of the posts. No RNG issues at all. I think the play can be rubbish & say well I did not put that hand in your range? But then again seen some strange plays on Stars too.

Seen nothing to suggest any different flops, or set ups, than any other site I've played on.
Report chipfire227 July 7, 2012 6:57 PM BST
Been longer than a month mate. I used to play a few 30 man STT's alongside my 6 and 10 man STT's but you simply cant do it. Bad enough that the table you are moving to freezes, but the fact it freezes everything else you are playing is absurd.Especially when you are playing turbos. The problem also seems to be getting worse. I was moved to the final table of a 30 man the other night and it killed all my tables for nearly a minute, which can be lethal if you are on the bubble of a 6 man D2N with 300/600 blinds.

What makes it worse than the fact that Betfair does absolutely fk all about it, is that they dont even acknowledge the problem, let alone tell their customer base when it's gonna get sorted out.
Report Santtu55 July 9, 2012 12:57 PM BST
And continues , if only one table is open it stops seconds but if you have two or more tables there goes few minutes and your hand is gone !!
