Late Night Poker on Channel 4 didnt start up until the back end of the 90's surely ?

I can remember Vicky Coren and Ricky Gervais did the celebrity one, think that was around 1999 ?? Coren looked absolutely mint.

Just seemed earlier  in my memory, but google confirmed started in 1999. Was re-introduced last year i think on ch.4 again.

Late night poker definatitely started before 1999! First started watching it when i was a kid living at home and i left 18 years ago!

late night poker first series was filmed  feb 1999 in cardiff, and started showing on tv in summer 1999. where they showed6series over the next 3 yrs.  ulliot won 1st,  simon trumper  phil hellmuth  padraig  and peter costa,uncle of maria demitreou  all won1.
