yes I have seen it frequently in SnG's, what is scripts running behind?

It's your timebank and you can do what you like with it.
I always remembering someone saying that they used to play STT's around 7am and timed every hand down. His logic was that players liked a quick game before they left for work, it infuriated them and usually caused players to tilt. As for freerolls, why would someone run a script in a freeroll when they could use it for far higher stakes? I'd suggest you open up another table and play there if it bothers you. |

agree with the op. Drives me mental

I love it when people type zzzz in the chat box. They are invariably crap players with zero patience who make auto decisions, and I tend to play even slower to wind them up.
As Oval says the timebank is there for a reason, to give decent players time to make the right decison, especially when they are mutitabling. You get 30 seconds in STTS and when its gone, then its gone. If you are playing four, five, or more tables then the lag can get really bad, and it often takes a while for tables where you are due to act to force their way to the front. |

Personally I think people who constantly play slowly are utter scum and should be shot in the face!
I am not talking about people who use their time bank for difficult decisions but the people described by the original poster who just use all their time every hand till their sat out then sit staright back in and then rinse and repeat. Chip, you may think it is clever tilting people in this manner but long term it is -EV. These people are usually the poorer players and you ruin their enjoyment. You may make them tilt and spew in that particular game but you are also likely to make them turn off their PC as they are not enjoying the game because you are basically ruining it. Very much killing the golden goose strategy and a very short term view as chances are it will be a player you could outplay anyway so need to resort to these sort of tactics! |

Dont play many MTT's these days so cant say I've noticed. Obviously in satelittes and approaching the bubble people short stacked will run the clock down, but thats just using your brains.
Tourneys I play tend to have 15 seconds to act and a 30 second timebank. If someone wants to use the full 15 seconds every hand it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. Then again I play quite slowly myself. What I will say is that in STT's clock management and timing tells are massively beneficial tools. I'd probably say clock manipulation is probably my biggest edge in D2N's. |

This was the comment I was talking about. Why wind up crap players, you take their money anyway and yet winding them up can only be non beneficial in the long run! |

Probably because I share several personality traits with psychopaths.

yes timebanks are there for when you have a tough decision!! Not when you have an easy decision. If you are taking a long time on every decision, play less tables, its better for you and your opponents!!

Putting a player on tilt is non beneficial... pmsl
people who don't like time banks should play hyper turbo's |
By:
Yes people, I don't mind also if someone is using timebank to make hard decisions. But, this post was about those people who do it EVERY SINGLE HAND AND FOLD. No call, no raise, no nothing. Just use timebank and fold the whole game. After the fold, shows away state which is quickly changed back to active state. I mean, that is insane if real human is behind, so I guess those are scripts.
