From a £1 spin on Alice's Wonderland game a few weeks ago, thought I would share this with my fellow forumites and poker players.
You can check the Arcade tab and winners tab, the banner is still up there.

It was an unbelievable feeling at the time, only now has it really sunk in.

Slight brag thread but also showing that it can happen to the regular punter/low stakes poker player.

Any questions?

Thanks Klup, I have put most of it away.
Booked a holiday straight away and bought a few new toys.
Nothing massive yet.

Wow - that's amazing.

Congratulations.

I hope that you enjoy spending the money.

I wrote the press release about this...."Suffolk man wins £97k from £1"

Well done again.....can't believe it was you!

A GRADUATE from the University of Birmingham has won a life changing £97,623.18 while playing an online slot machine on Betfair.

The 27-year-old Suffolk native scooped the enormous sum by hitting the jackpot on the site’s Alice’s Wonderland game, just 36 seconds into his playing session.

He commented: “I usually just stick to poker, but I decided to have a quick spin whilst watching the football. I was stunned to find out that I’d hit the jackpot, but now I’m already planning the holiday of a lifetime with the winnings.”

Betfair’s James Gilbert said: “Having ballooned to almost six figures, the jackpot was due to go at any moment, and this customer was in the right place at the right time.”

There is still more than £7 million worth of jackpots to be won on Betfair, including £4.7 million on the company’s Beach Life slots title.

James is Good Cop to BF PR's bad cop. Deffo not the same person. If James were responsible for sending out my hoodie for instance, I would have had it by now, and not be having to walk the dog at midnight in temps of MINUS 12 as Im just about to do, in my 888 Poker Hoodie.

Anyhow, as Bruce/Kaiser isnt 27 years old, he cannot be the man who won the £97k.

HTH.
