Was having a bit of a clear out tonight, and came across an old copy of Poker Player magazine from a couple of years ago . There was a piece in it on the Betfair Triple  Crown promotion, and the Leaderboards contained a few interesting faces.

gnasher8, chipfire227,kunkuwap, Doobs, NickFlick, surrender, Jinzo, MrFancyPant, all still playing, but whatever happened to the following :

WannaCookie
tankdahl
nuts1
C8_KRW
sharky123
oberfuhrer9

WannaCookie pops up on my msn every now and again.

He stopped playing on Betfair when they moved to Ongame, he still plays on various sites (I forget which).

Lost a decent whack to the Eastern European Card Sharing School the early part of last year and switched to 888, but after those players got banned/left, I came back and have to say I'm finding it relatively easy to make a few bob.

Havent had much work on over Christams and New Year so been playing a lot more than usual.

There's plenty of people moan about the bad beats, which is always going to happen when you have bad players, there's still too many outages, and the Customer Service is still poor, but overall I think its a good site for lower stakes players. Theres plenty of traffic from 10 am right through to the wee small hours, and the standard of play is still poor, apart from a handful of decent players.

Only thing I dont like is the MTT lobby, but I'm doing my level best at the Q and A sessions to get them to make basic changes e.g. late registration, synchronised breaks.

Glad to hear that you're doing ok!
You were defo one of the toughest players to beat on old betfair d2n's.
Yeah the bad beats on here are pretty crazy, last night had aa on akk flop and lost $700!!
I play most day's now and don't see many outages???
Customer services are usually spot on when i call, not that it's that often!
I don't have a problem with mtt's seeing as we never had that stuff on Betfair before.
The thing i really hate is only getting a very small amount of cake compared to what it should be!
I haven't played many d2n's on here, are they good? What are they like at $100-$200?

The D2NS are D2NS mate, they are good for generating rakeback and LB points and not much else, prefer the 5 seater STTS, which pay 70% for first and 30% for second.

Havent played any 100$ games, but the 50$ games are much the same as the ones on Stars, lots of grinders and the odd fish. Prefer the 6 seaters to the 10 seater D2NS as you see more flops.
