Essentially you will be able to spunk money playing roulette and blackjack within each individual table in the space where the tourney information is.

LoL at Ongame talk about get priorities right...No late reg/no synch breaks/no hand replayer the list is feckin endless yet we get side games, total bollox.

I can only imagine the joy I am going to feel when one of these sidegames pops up when I am running overlapping tables.

We were told at the Q and A that the side games are optional, and will only appear in that section of the screen if you enable it. I've self excluded myself from Arcade and Casino, so even if I mis-click the button they wont appear.

Me and Thrappers did suggest some ideas for stuff that could go in that field rather than junk, such as Live Leaderboards if and when they get them, or the option to have in play betting for your chosen event in there, for morons like me that try and trade NFL or snooker while 4 tabling.Laugh

We also stressed YET AGAIN the stupidity of there not being late registration or synchronised breaks for MTTS. I think the penny has finally dropped.

Side games is just them wanting to make more coin quicker. Pishes me off that the fish on your table will be spewing cash on Blackjack and Roulette, but at the same time I'm happy they will have even less than normal of their already limited brainpower focussed on the game.

I'm pretty pissed off that a slight misclick can automatically logout of the system without an 'are you sure message'. I'd be really pissed off if I unwillingly start up a side-game.

Just thought I would clear up a few misconceptions for you.

The side games will appear within the game screen (right hand side above hand history) and there will be no pop up if you decide to play

It can be turned off very easily if you do not want to play  them. You shouldn't be able to mis click as it will be v. obvious. You can self exclude or minimise.

It is the first step in providing other data in that area. In the future we are hoping to develop other functionality  but it is not on the immediate product roadmap

This is exclusive to Betfair Poker and not other Ongame operators.

Instead of asking your customers to opt out of these money making scams, why not ask if they wish to opt in?

Remember. Responsible gambling.
