what are the odds of getting the same hand twice in a row? i mean jq hearts twice in a row and ten hands earlier i got 6d6s twice in a row! must be few million to one good old betfair poker

If the cards are genuinely random you have the same chance of getting the ones you had the previous hand as any other.

I wouldnt read too much into it- while the odds on it happening are huge, its still probably more likely to happen than Hartlepool not losing at home.

The most amazing winning hand I have seen in holdem is a 7 card royal flush

hole cards Ac Kc  --  board cards 10c Jc 8c 9c Qc -- pity only 5 cards count --- now what are the odds on that??

Although I have been playing for years -- still never seen quads busted in holdem -- thats supposed to be stupid odds also -- above 50 million to one or something.
