The 2nd Chance Sponsorship Tourney, is it open to all people who didnt recieve a sponsorship in the last tourney, if it is why havnt i yet to recieve a ticket.

OK I have got to the bottom of this after speaking to the teams involved.
(Please don't shoot the messenger) The first tournament "Team Betfair Wants You" on 31st December was an all inclusive tournament available to all BF Poker customers i.e. anyone could play in it. The second chance sponsorship tournament is a semi-exclusive tournament You have to be registered with certain affiliate sites and must have received a personal invite to qualify. I have made the Helpdesk and Poker affiliate team check that this list is up to date. shame as its only available to certain selected customers. that it didnt have a completly different name than a similar 1 to a competition that every1 could qualify.
instead, many of us regs notice it and feel a little agived that we couldnt qualify. the twitter comp started anhr ago bruce. 285 runners, 100bucks in the pot. |

Do we have to complaine all the time to get status of affiliated players who have been specifically invited to compete for the ‘2nd Chance Sponsorship Tournament’, through official Betfair channels or you will explaine to all of us why we havent get that special invite ?

If you sign up via an affiliate, one of the fringe benefits is that you get the odd freeroll thrown in to keep you sweet.
I did not sign up via an affiliate, I am therefore not eligible for the tourney, and I have absolutely no issues with that. The only gripe people who are not eligible can have is that the tourney IS VERY BADLY NAMED, and whoever dreamt the idea up will hopefully have that pointed out to them. |
