Kim looking gutted in this photo and rightfully so after losing a 120k pot on the river to an inside straight and having to call his opponents 20k value bet on the river.

The raiser calls and flips over AA and despite the flop and turn bringing hans a flush and a straight draw the blank river means he leaves with 2550 euro!

Contrary to Hellmuthian Folds I'm not actually on my third costume change .. I'm actually on my second costume for the day.
ALSO how dare he compare me to Katy Perry ... Gaga has better costumes!!
Jokes aside, today was another long day, full of plenty of poker and lots of bad beat stories, sooo interesting! We've still got four people left in the Main Event and its reached boiling point..
Tomorrow evening we will have the official Team Betfair night out, watch this space for Hellmuthian Folds pulling out his 80's dance moves (youtube link to follow!)

Erik Hellman goes out when he re-raises what looks like a steal with a shove with JT sooooted and is insta-called by the raiser with QQ.
The board offers no help so Erik leaves with 3135 euro in 42nd place.
Sorry no photo of the hand!

The board brings no Aces or Tens and Chavdar is on his way back to Bulgaria.
He played really well and I had high hopes of him carrying the big prize home for Betfair but it was not meant to be!
Here he is with his very cute girlfriend who railed him loyally for the last three days.
Chavdar exits in 32nd and receives 3507 euro.He gets AT and calls a shove who has 66.The board brings no Aces or Tens and Chavdar is on his way back to Bulgaria. He played really well and I had high hopes of him carrying the big prize home for Betfair
Two minutes later Kim exits in 30th and also picks up 3507 euro.
He bluffed away a load of chips in the previous hand with A5 and left himself with 40k.
He has J6 in the BB and calls the shove from the button who turns over 99
The flop of QJT gives Kim hope and the J on the turn raises those higher but the killer blow of an 8 on the river gives his opponent the straight.
He played the short stack very well at yeaterdays bubble and was quite happy with his cash as it was all he really expected going into today so short stacked.

Nicholas just doubles up.Shoves from the button with A2.The BB insta-calls with AT.The flop is A25, turn J and river 9.No wonder he cashes so much with that luck! Sits on around 250k now!
We then went down to final two tables and Delicado Hernandez finished 18th winning 4516 euro.
He had the ill fortune to run AQ into AA and although the turn gave a straight draw and the River a flush draw he was left bereft with only 10k chips and went out next hand when he put it in with 93 and lost to T8

And finally after being short stacked for most of the day our hero Nicholas Gibson falls in 10th place and will be the final exit of the day.
Nicholas finds A7 on the Big Blind and shoves for 238k after the button had made it 50k, the B button tanks for a bit and then calls him with KJ.
Hitting a King on the flop and a Jack on the turn Nicholas is drawing dead on the river but leaves with a very healthy €7,970 to keep up his perfect Betfair cashing record.

There's been some big raises and a couple of shoves but no actual all in situations.
Raigo has probably been the biggest sufferer so far having been pushed out of at least 3 big pots!

The GSOP staff ran the tourney very well and Marty Wilson was a great host/compere/MC.
Not quite as much fun as the Betfair Live events but hats off to the GSOP staff who run a silky smooth tournament and kept all the players happy.
On the final table I genuinely believe the best player won which is always a bonus as you don't always get justice in this game.
A big shout out to Nicholas Gibson who was top of the Betfair contingent in 10th and was unlucky to miss out on a final table place!
This is me from Prague - over and out!

GSOP Prague was just what I'd want from a poker trip: Well run tourney, excellent venue. A lot of horrid players. Really great city. Met some more great people and many familiar faces.
Dave and Fran were excellent and I didnt even qualify with Betfair. Dave worked very hard on this, its a great read. I thoroughly recommend Betfair Live London in Feb.
Congrats Nick on 10th and Philly on the side event win.

Agree with all the above. Fran and Dave did a great job in Prague and I personally really enjoyed the trip.
Olof and I were way too hungover from the party and missed our flights, for the 2nd trip running... but had a good(and profitable) time overall!

A very well organised event in general. I assume the whole tournament cluster was a gigantic success judging from the number of players i saw hanging around!
Extra thanks to Fran and Dave (and everyone else in the staff, sorry I'm not good with names :)) for a great night out and that legendary "betfair hospitality" that we've all gotten comfortably used to.
Hope to see everyone at the next event!
Olof
