It's a bit sad of Betfair if they cancelled a Tournament that was part of a charity promotion?!

May be if we all hang about for 3 weeks or 6 months, with loads of e-mails to them something might get done about it. Well presumably.

I didnt get a ticket and rang the helpdesk at 7.45. They got me a ticket and then it got cancelled. There were only 7 of us too :(

I've just phoned the helpdesk to find out why the tournament was cancelled. I was told that a poker manager would need to be consulted and that couldn't be done until the morning. But I would be contacted then. Only 7 players registered and there was 5 great prizes. I am annoyed about the cancellation as I was supposed to be out tonight and had put it off to enable me to play this tournament. No notification was given prior to the start, at 2000 hours the tournament simply read, the tournament is cancelled. Another great promotion ends in chaos and bewilderment.

I recieved an e-mail this morning apologising for the technical oversight that prevented the tournament from running last night. The tournament has now been rescheduled for next wednesday (7th Dec) 8pm start GMT and only the players who were eligible for last night to take part. The new tournament will appear in the lobby on Monday and players will be issued with new tickets.
Good luck to the magnificent seven and of course anyone else that is eligible for vthe tournament. |
