Not a lot wrong with it.
I think shipping it pre after the button raise and SB call would have been slightly better as you really want to isolate - after all, you only had 14x bb's and the pot was already worth 50% more chips to you. That said, your game had reached a points where you needed to maximise value on your premium hand. You definitely needed a double up or triple up if you were to have a deep run. Just unlucky - and for SB with J10 to call a 4 bet (that wreaked of aces) pre flop - thats the kind of player you want on your table! |

As Klup says, not a lot wrong and you have to try and maximise in those situations. I had AA in the ipoker 200k last weekend, re raised a raise and a guy calls with 45. Flop 944. GG it happens, frustrating but you have to move on and wait for the day when the donks miss.

I am no expert but I don't think you did much wrong
You raised 7x the big blind nothing wrong with that (although in retrospect an all in would probably have won the pot!) They probably called thinking that you would shove all in with pretty much anything on the flop as it was 17k into a 63k pot which then gives them nearly 4-1 for a call. The donks were hoping to get lucky and they did Better luck next time. ![]() |

You played it horribly. Raise, or shove pre. You may as well have turned your hand face up.
Luckily both your oppos were playing poker for the first time. |

Totally agree with Doobs, limp, re-re-raise from early position, is aces about 90% of the time, and it would be an easy fold for most competent players with 10 j or q j.
I would never limp from early position with a bluff, nobody would, so I would never limp with aces from early position either, unless it was a particularly loose table. On the flipside a lot of players at the lower levels only ever see their own two cards and act accordingly, if they like the look of them they will play the hand regardless of what it might cost them, so it doesnt really matter whether your hand is disguised or not. I dont think anyone will ever accuse you of playing a hand badly if you raise with aces every single time you have them though. |
