Poker sites like Pokerstars, William Hill etc have, like betfair, vip programs, so is it worth going through rakeback sites?  Do they give you anything more than the actual sites?  It looks like all they say is 'promotions', does that mean freerolls - which I loathe.

I am thinking of joining pokerstars and joining through holdem manager so as to possibly get their products for nothing.  Or is there a better deal?

TIA   Happy

There are nearly always advantages of going through an affiliate site. But establish what you want before you sign up through one as there is no changing on a site like pokerstars.

Thanks klup, but what actually do rakeback sites give you if you enter pokerstars through their sites?

I have seen poker book publishing sites offer free books, holdem mangager promise free software, but rakeback.com just say promotions.  Presumably you do not get any extra rakeback from rakeback. com as pokerstars is a vip program?

Betfairprmanager, do you think it is better to join betfair direct or go through an affiliate?
