Just been reading the promotions page and noticed this at the bottom of that new 20k sponsership promotion, does this mean our rakeback has just reduced or are betfair restructuring the rewards system??????????

i really hope they dont reduce the rakeback cause its unfair. the only guys that interest that are those who have players cllub istead of rakeback. the rake we give is not relative to player points we get.so if we five a 100$ rake in a month it doesnt change, if we get lets say 1500 player points a month or if we get 1300 with the new system. so it would be wrong to reduce our rakeback. regarding the new change in players club ,well betfair and ongame seems to find new ways to improve their earnings....

I also read (on Pokernews I think) that they are going to re-jig the essence system. As I don't understand it already and I don't play here as much it doesn't bother me.

as i mentioned 2 weeks ago, from next sunday allgames or rake willb rewarded at 3.6 ptsfor each dollar caked based on the essensce system.

this means allplayers on the points system playing mtts/sttswill b worse off, and allcash game players slightly better off.

my question was will it still b possible to get 40% on the points system based on getting 30% less points per dollar caked?

they are obviously more interested in getting us to play cash, much more rake paid there in an hours play.
I remember when MTT and STT players were looked after on Betfair . Those days are gone . All their efforts are now into promoting rake races to improve  their takings. Understandable I suppose as long as they can keep their player base

Have to admit I don't even look at the MTT lobby these days, it just gives me a migraine. Everything is a qualifier or a step to something else. You should just be able to filter everything like that out, but it would probably leave very little in the lobby.
