Ive been playing on Carbon poker on the Merge network for nearly 3 weeks and have to say, why didnt i play here earlier. The reason im posting on here about it, is because of the similarities of the old Betfair software. Apart from the fact that the software is simplistic but fantastic, the players are on the whole awful. Im a cash game player but for tournament players, a large chunk of the time there is overlays. The value is unreal. I get 35% rakeback which has been enhanced because of the points im generating and this gets paid DAILY. Because of the fact players from USA can play there, peak hours you'll get 12k players. The only 2 downsides are if you are mainly a tourney player, the best tourneys are late and cashouts are a bit longer than other sites for e.g i withdrew $1300 on 31/10, it got approved on 5/11, but apart from that, take a look guys and you will see what i mean. I would be very surprised if ppl said they disliked it Happy

Sigh....Merge is the only network USA , so if anything the site is going to be tough, you obv won 6/10 stts and are feeling great after such a massive sample.

Before black friday merge was super soft, its full of regs and shortstackers now. As far as i know new players cant get rb and there is only one skin that allows you to withdraw to a debit card.

@ shudacuda, I play on Carbon poker, I did state in my first sentence Wink. @ garybet, your right, you cannot get rb now if you join up, i registered before the deadline but never deposited until 3 weeks ago but their loyalty program is virtually the same, you will still receive daily cash rebates, the points you generate from playing can be used to buy items from the store, enter tourneys or exchange for more cash and it doesnt even take it off your rb. They dont (at the moment), let you withdraw to your debit card but just set up a Moneybookers account, its so simple. As i stated above, if you preferred the old Betfair software (and i know most of you did), you would love Merge Excited

jc30, ive played over 400k hands on merge so i know about the network. Youre right about the software its far better than bf if you use the mini mode tables but the games are way softer on bf now and its not even close.
Their loyalty program is nowhere nere as good as rb unless you play tons. They start you off at 6% and you dont get 35% until you reach ether level which is 25,000 pts a month ($2.5k)

So glad i signed up then before they stopped rb, it sure does help when you get topped up every day, the most rb so far ive received in one day is $43. Hope that Merge becomes even more popular and the fish come along in their droves Grin
