Why am I not on betfair's standard loyalty scheme?

I just looked at the my players club screen, and at the top of the screen it says "Note: You are currently not on Betfair's standard loyalty scheme. Not all details apply to you. They are marked as not applicable ".

Any idea why this is, and am I losing out as a result?
