time bank

hi guys i was hoping if anyone out there could help me ive recently started playing more on betfair but am becomig increasingly more frustrated at the lack of a time bank when faced with a tough decision. i have noticed at times other players time clock restarting and a message in the game info box saying player x has been given more time to act. ami i missing out here and is there a "secret " to gaining more time
