I doubt it is in his job description to trawl the forum 24/7.
Indeed, at the last Q and A session I particularly remember him saying it wasn't. |

HF ... despite your natural ability to spot a trick a mile away - please help me out ... his / her title is??
[insert your answer here HF] And therefore his / her role is not limited to doing public relations for Betfair Poker but more realistically across a range of Betfair products! nuff said, and HF is back in his box, where a good pup ought to be [;)][;)] |

Yes, he's got a whole lot of questions to ignore, about casinomeister, on that forum as well.

I will try to answer this sensibly however I sense this request is not genuine.
My job description is to promote the brand in a favourable light externally to consumers. I do this across 14 countries and all of our products (sport, casino, poker and arcade) I do this in a variety of ways including PR stunts, press releases, advising departments, managing content on our betting.betfair website and using social media including facebook, twitter, forums and youtube etc This tends to keep me quite busy! My job is not answering questions on this forum. In fact the forum falls under the remit of our Community department. Believe it or not I do it because I want to. It is not my job to answer your questions and queries. That is the responsibility of our Help Desk. However If I can be of assistance I will try and help where possible. Why? Because despite the abuse I believe in our product and want to help and engage with our customers. I would contribute to this forum even if I didn't work in PR |

Thank you for your response, My question is very much genuine!
It seems to me that the two main questions on this forum that cause real concern is regarding the way BF calculate r4keback and the concept that your software favour fish. surely if it is within your remit would it not be easier to just give a answer that will explain this once and for all! I have been down the road of thinking that the RNG is fixed and all the rest of that cr4p but as I have played more and on other sites you realise that it may not be fixed but I do think that it is tweaked in some way [:o] maybe that is me just being silly but that lack of a coherent answer about the way you calculate r4keback and the whole software favours fish issue does concern me. Would it not be in the best interest of the company to just put this to bed for once and all? and if I have missed a detailed explanation then please accept my apologies. |

think its hard to try and convince anyone that the rng inst genuine if they dont want to beleive it so he is fighting a losing battle - what would make it better is if the original software/fish quote had been worded better and certainly explained fully that it was meant in the manner of giving differing bonuses etc instead of people jumping on the bandwagon and assuming it meant that the software was somehow **** in favour of certain players

We were promised a doccument detailing how the Essence system worked in the last Q and A session. Just a shade under 2 months on and this promise has still to be fulfilled. Neither has the promise to dislose information relating to cheating and collusion. The leaderboards seem to be getting worse rather than better too - not that any UK players seem bothered anymore.
PR is a decent bloke, doing his best to drag BF Poker forwards. I get the impression though that like the rest of us he is banging his head against a brick wall with some departments within the company. I'd give an interim precis of where we are with the deliverables raised in the Q and A session, but as its not my job to do so, and the moderators are going back down the route of pulling any posts where i mention the word collusion, to spend time doing so would deffo be EV-. The next Q and A is December I believe so if people want stuff raising feel free to post on this thread or send me a PM. |

essennce simply.
every player is given a score outta 100 called a co efficent. this [in theory] is based on your prevoius 90days p and l playing ring games on ongame. both examples based on sb and bb playing a pot where 3 dollars is caked by the house. based on a headsup pot 2 players with an equal score would share the cake generated equally.[ie both players would accure a cakeable amount of 1.50 and if u on 40%deal u get.60c] if 2 players were in the same pot , and 1 player had a really high co efficent[ in theory a winning shark like player]and the other player in the pot was a player with a low co effiecent[in theory a loose losing player] the rake from the pot can be shared by as much as 90% to the loser and 10to the winner. so if u were the winnig playing in this pot u would only get30c added to your cakable amount, and the losin player as much as 2.70. this is based on info supplied by ongame at the gambling show london2011. on their stand |

ye might explain how the site snares the fish to the cash tables but it seems that the site also help the fish out in the tournaments, sit&go ect.So how do they go about doing that in a fair manner?
Has it anything to do with the very secret PLAYER EVALUATION SYSTEM ? |
