hi folks ,off to vegas on wed for a week with some mates,we just leisure time poker players, any advice ,tips on places to go ,etc thanks in advance

make sure you visit downtown, see a show, play craps, jump off the strat, have a day out at the canyon, have at least one night out in a proper club

easiest free money cash tables are at mirage imho. friendliest poker room is tropicana, although can take a while for enough people for a cash game

Top 5 things to do outside of poker:
Helicopter trip at Sunset to Grand Canyon The Gun Store Cirque de Soleil - "O" is an amazing show! Playboy club at Palms or one of the mega clubs such as Tryst Tao Pure Blush or my favourite Surrender Sapphire / Spearmint Rhino or Chicken Ranch if you are being very naughty [:x] * Don't book anything from UK - its always cheaper out there. Enjoy and don't forget to share your pictures with the rest of the forum. [;)] |

spearmint rhino? If you go to Spearmint Rhino you'll soon see why they call it Sin City ! Have a look at the website ! The Grand Canyon is just amazing. If you don't want to spend a whole day there, you can get a quick fix helicopter trip, half-a-day they pick you up from your hotel and drop you back at the hotel. Downtown is worth a vist, the original part of Las Vegas where the first casinos were before all these monster hotels went up. If you go down there I wouldn't wander off, stick to Freemont and Main Street. If you want a few scary rides go to the top of Stratosphere Tower, 350m high, or you can jump off the top, it's a controlled cable jump, about 15 seconds to hit the ground and your coming down over 40 mph ! If you like the shows, some great shows out there, depends what you like. Hope you have a good time, sure you will !! |

well guys im back,had a ball,to be honest all the plans went out the window,
managed to play a few tourneys ... went deep in a 90 player $80 freezout in mgm only to be put all in when holding Ac flush to realise other guy got his 8c to give him 7,8,9,10 and j of clubs, ouch. split a $25 rebuy tourney in the excalibur and 3rd in a $40 rebuy so i broke even on poker.............lost on blackjack,kraps,slots,drink and notriousely fast women..   done the gunstore,grand canyon, and a very good bar on the strip called diablos, overall enjoyable but a week long enough. thanks for all your help and tips... trapsix, p.s. all photos have been deleted..[:x] |
