It was discussed, and the comments from Betfair are still on the forum for all to see.
They put an announcement on the forum the other day stating there was a delay, but there hasn't been an update, which really isn't good enough. I did say at the meeting that if they couldnt run these promotions without this sort of debacle they should pull them . |

Thanks chipfire.
The problem is if they pull them I will go and play elsewhere. An announcement is fine and I can accept that if it keeps us waiting a few hours. The problem is when the leaderboard is down for 80% of the length of the promotion. Just not good enough! |

agreewith poppy, 3 days is a long time to wait on a weekly promo.

I didnt mean pull them altogether, I just meant withdraw them until they had resolved the problem, because when they cant update them regualrly/upon completion, it makes them look incompetent and it generates bad feeling.
We were told at the Q and A it was an issue getting reliable data. That may be the case, but if the data cant be relied upon to arrive when it should, or even worse if its incorrect, then not sure how you can run rake races/leaderboards. I also think its too easy for Betfair to blame Ongame. Lets be honest they had issues before the switch, Triple Crown being a good example of a farcical promotion that involved leaderboards. I emailed them earlier in the week to remind them that nearly 5 weeks have elapsed since the session, and while some things promised have been delivered, a lot haven't. Given they didnt promise a massive amount they really need to get their fingers out in a few areas. |
