Last night was our first event in the Kunku Wap Ambassador Challenge. John had a few issues with his new broacasting technology which we are looking to iron out in time for next week. Did anyone else have any issues logging on, structure of the tournament, etc.

Please leave your feedback below.

I was disconnected last night, And my connection was fine elsewhere (The competition / League was NOT to blame for this)

Good to hear progress is being made with the broadcast attempt

The next event, And the 5th event are both Pot limit omaha, So I'll probably give them a miss

I'll probably play the no limit hold em events (Just to be sociable) lol

I also look forward to finding out more about this live inrunning broadcast

Was it in print on the forum, Was it audio, Or video broadcast ?

Thanks for the feedback
The live broadcast was a link you click on to launch an audio player.
JT was live commentating and answering any questions you have.
We are ironing out tech problems but will post the link again before next week.

Yes, I've just searched the link

This can only be good for the game

I was also going to suggest something like this, But my previous threads were long enough already

At first I was also thinking to myself, WHAT ARE THEY DOING

Theres no advert, Photoshots off kunku standing in his suit as the POKER AMBASSADOR promoting the game. Then I clicked the ambassador challenge link and seen him standing with lee dixon etc

Anyway, Its clap clap from me, And a thumbs up pose

the structure made the game go on too long, 1am finish was it? not good for the majority when the previous BF community tournament finished before midnight..
maybe bring back that structure

Update the leaderboard and put it on here?

Felt the double rebuy made for a tighter game than the old rebuy tourneys which meant for less bingo play (which used to be part of the fun). Still it's a good structure and suits a skilfull game.

A good mix of games would help including turbo and 6 max. 5 points for playing and ?Deny's? idea of double points in the final week to keep the interest going. Maybe a few more spot prizes like bubble ticket, first out etc. prizes don't have to be much, $5 ticket or similar. Just a few ideas to throw into the mix.

BruceWillis and Ovalman

Good feedback which I will give to the tournament team.
Can't promise anything but we might be able to tweak some things at a later date

The rebuy period went on way, way, way, too long. Everyone seemed to rebuy for a dollar immediately to get them to 5000, then sit around waiting for the dollar add on.

Over 5 hours for a first prize of $100 is too long when a lot of us have to be up at 7 for work. You deffo want to be finishing before midnight, and either killing the double rebuy or halving the rebuy period.

Would also reduce the blind increase by a couple of minutes. Its not the WSOP.

I liked the structure, And as this game is currently only once a week why not just change it to a $3 rebuy + add on, Or even a $5 rebuy

That way, Players are not playing for 5 hours + for approx $100

id say that favours the bigger bankrols sleep

how about no rebuy i hate them but for the sake of a buck i dont mind

tweak the stucture with smaller starting stack back too 2000

might resolve this

Happy for 1 hour double stack rebuy. To watch the footie.
2000/6 or 8 would have shortened it.
Aim for winner at midnight or turn into a pumpkin.

Did not even try for the broadcast as others as well as John mentioned issues.

think format was ok. But as for increasing the buy in re buy ect got 2 b a no no this was/is supposed to b a tour that brings the old/new community together ( catch up with old m8's slag off old enemys abuse the new fish and old for that matter)so has to be affordable for most ( just stick the 250 back in the pot bf you tight arses ).

Having chips in play increases the action so how about limit the re buys 1 or 2.

And was good to see some old faces emerge from the dark.

Yeah good to see some old/new back but it would be nice for a bit added.
Try pokertube's Thursday for small stakes and $250 added if looking for that value and small number of players (the old 2000/15 structure too).

pretty true,i only played out this marathon because id spent about 20$ (embarressed)in rebuys, hehe if not id given up long before cash, cant do that again tbh,way too long...$5 with $5 rebuys for 30mins is about right,8 or 10min blinds, thatll be cool.OH and KeithAisooGAY :)

If  you reintroduce the $250 added to the table, you get the Russians playing/winning it every week. I dont mind them as a rule, but the fella that was winning it every week never once commented in the chat box, which imho goes against the spirit of the thing.

I played him twice heads up at the end of four hours, and couldnt for the life of me get him to say anything.
