Well it's finally here ......the all new, all singing, all dancing Kunkuwap Ambassador Challenge.
We know the community tournament was getting a little tired and things needed spicing up.
Betfair Poker’s very own poker pro, John ‘kunku wap’ Tabatabai, has got together with Betfair Ambassadors Lee Dixon, Michael Vaughan, Will Greenwood and Paul Nicholls to bring you a unique tournament opportunity!
Join John on Wednesdays at 20:00 (UK time) for his weekly “JT’s Ambassador” community tournament. Take on all-comers to win yourself some cash, rise up the league table, and get your hands on some truly unique sporting prizes.
He will also be live commentating each week (link to be posted)
Leagues & Prizes
There will be four leagues, each running for two months, with cash and unique prizes up for grabs in each one.
The winner of each league will win two hospitality tickets to join John Tabatabai on a sporting trip, plus £300 in expenses.
Dixon League - Sept 14th - Nov 2nd - Winner to go to an Arsenal game of their choice (ticket availability dependant).
Greenwood League - Nov 9th - Dec 28th - Winner to go to England v Wales in RBS 6 nations on 25th February 2012.
Nicholls League - Jan 4th - Feb 22nd - Winner to go to the Friday of the Cheltenham Festival (16th March 2012).
Vaughan League - Feb 29th - Apr 18th - Winner to go to Lords for England v West Indies (May 2012).
Runners up prizes for each league are:
2nd: £250
3rd: £150
4th: £100
5th: £50
Points & Schedule
Play in the $5 ‘JT Ambassador MTT’ every Wednesday at 8pm (UK Time) to earn points and move up the league ladder (to be updated each week on JT’s forum thread).

Maybe a bit too much PL Omaha but the rebuys in these should be great fun knowing the crazy hands thrown up. Also like to see turbo and 6 max thrown into the mix but that could come at a later date. Big thumbs up from me, Mrs O is a Gooner so it's a prize well worth playing for. All prizes are extra special BTW.

All community games are restricted to betfair - you wont see the game in the lobby on other skins

perhaps you could swap the 50 points for knocking out kunku to a cash bounty instead? Im could be more likely to knock him out in some situations than getting in top 3 if I was on his table which would make me play silly!

I think you will find running a brothel is quite difficult, in part due to the illegality of it, in part due to the unreliability of the staff.
Advertising can be tricky too. Thinking about it, they probably wouldnt want to run that sort of business. HTH. [;)] |

in a brothel my understanding is that the customer does the shafting.From my experience this runs counter to the betfair poker business model

So, betfair, you said that you will give a cash prize if anyone does not want the tickets - so that means you will give them £1150?
I am still not sure about those tickets. Does this mean that you get two tickets for yourself and have to join kunkuwap at these events, or do you join Nicholls, greenwood etc at their respective events or do you just go on your own? |

Sorry, that should read that the cash prize you give them would be £1450 - being the difference between the weekly 250 you have saved and the other place money

I feel it's a great set of prizes, you can't please everyone. If you're not happy then don't play imo.

Pretty sure it used to be $250 added each week not £250 so those who are complaining despite not even playing the thing, might want to have a 3rd attempt at the maths. [;)]

Sorry, I read the previous post as saying it was £250. I play on ipoker in pounds so forget that betfair only deals in $
