Why can't I copy and paste my username and password when logging onto the poker site? After all, I can do it to log on to the main site. So why not poker?

Having recently read a few horror stories of accounts being hacked I've beefed up my security a bit, part of which involves never typing my username and password in case someone somehow manages to bypass my security and put a keylogger on my computer.

Unless I can copy and paste, it means I won't be able to use Betfair poker ever, and I only just started again last night after not having played on it since November (for various reasons).

Please can you sort this out if you want my continued custom again.

Cheers

the quick solution for you is to play poker through the internet browser.

> Log in to the main betfair site as you normally do.
> Click the poker tab
> Press the "play instantly in browser icon" (Green towards the top right of the page),

wait for 20 seconds and the poker room should open.

keyloggers have to be manually put on your keyboard/computer I think

Thanks for that idea Klup. I've never tried that option before.
It looks as if it may have some limitations but I'll give it a try and see what they are, if any.

Brucie, I'm no expert in these matters but what I've read tends to suggest that 3rd parties can download a keylogger directly on to your computer and hide it away somehow without you knowing it's there.
