There was a lot of people saying a while back that Betfair Poker was using up most of their CPU usage when it was running. I presume this was a site issue and Betfair sorted it out eventually, however, I remember a few people saying there was other things that you could do to try to stop it yourself - something to do with bandwith or something?

Anyone got any advice for this? (Same problem, different site (who say it's not their problem lol)).

Thanks.

Oh, problem actually is the tables slow down so much that I'm being timed out a lot. Multi-tabling works fine for about 10/20 minutes of play then everything slows right down and end up having to close the poker site down and restart meaning I then have to go back on waiting lists to play (cash tables).

I'm presuming it's down to the cpu usage which averages at about 85-90% hitting and staying at 100% for a few seconds regularly.

Sounds like a RAM problem waheyy, my guess is that over time you are saving the log to your ram. Try adjusting the properties in task manager for the poker client (contol alt delete) select the processes tab, locate the poker client and right click, select set priority to realtime or high
