Think one of your worse was v me on ft when i went all in utg with AJ spades and you called in bb pos 3/4 of your stack with A 4 os and turn 4 river 4  Awful play by you but standard ongame sh*t

Sorry about that one de1 agree typical OnGame board, but its not really awful play when its folded round to you on the button and you shove with 8bb, its only a wrong call with A4s out of BB if your only shoving top 12% or less which I think we both know aint the case.

But i think you knew you were calling and were behind

For sure its a reluctant snap call because I am a decent way ahead very rarely and I'm looking at being a 30% dog, as I was, more often.

Still my gripe was given your shove from the button (not UTG, which would've been v different) I have to call with A4s against the range your gonna shove, so saying its awful play is a tad harsh.

Ok i will re-phrase.....poor play

So you shove 8 BBs from the button with AJ with antes in play and he calls with A4s.  I think the term you are grasping for is standard all round. Sure it was a beat, but you've been playing long enough to know **** happens.

still prefer poor play from him

de,

It is standard play, if he doesn't call then he is making a poor play.  If you call there you are ahead more often than you're behind and you already have equity in the pot so it is a snap call.
