Team Game was great fun, thanks Dinos for organising.
How did folk do in the ILPP Incredible 100. In the 90 minutes before I was coolered, I learnt that the incredible relates to how incredibly bad the standard was, or was that just my table?

Main Event Last the longest was won by Mrs BFWingDing2
She finished 11th of 201 entries and picked up a trophy for herself as well as £400 from Betfair to go with the cash from the prize pool.
2nd) Gary Solomons 3rd) BFWingDing2 4th) Tim Speers (I think - will need to double check this)

Really enjoyed the day and it was great to meet so many of the forum regs.
We decided to make a weekend of it and having never been to DTD before, did a recon the previous evening. Very impressed by the whole outfit, would play live a lot more if I lived nearer!
Team event was great fun. I was on the tightest table ever sat between Sir David and Gilfie. We still had 7 left when most of the others had finished. The banter was excellent and Gilfie played a classic tag stt game to win the table.
I had to seriously twist Gina (my better half) to play but she managed a third on her table, so with a bit of extra persuasion she played the main event, despite having barely played any poker for the last 2 years. In time honoured fashion her ultra patient game outlasted all of us and I'm hoping I can persuade her to play a few more live games now. She really enjoyed it and was buzzing afterward.
It was also great to meet some of the Betfair staff, Matt in particular. I feel much brighter about the future of Betfair poker having spoken at length to Matt and its clear that they want the same things that the players do and are equally frustrated that everything can't be done overnight. They care passionatly about the site and given time, I fel they will deliver the client that we want.
A big thank you must go to Betfair for the excellent hospitality and all the added prize money.
Finally, a very big thank you to Dinos (Klup) who put so much into the day. The guys passion and commitment is second to none and if ever anyone deserves to succeed in his ventures it's Dinos.
Roll on next year!

She did say it was a lively table but she enjoyed it. She was getting a bit concerned at one point that you were winding one guy up a bit to much.
She feared for your health

Regarding your query of having mislaid your tankard that you won at the club, I have now been able to get hold of the bar staff and a tankard has been handed in if you ask the reception staff next time you are at the club as they have this waiting for you. Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
Sincerely,

Hi All - im finally recovering from the weekend! Thank &£$* i didn't drink. (It has been a hectic 10 days - most of which was not related to this event.
First and foremost - a huge thank you to all who came. I appreciate most had to travel and book hotels, but it was pleasing to see we were able to deliver a team event with 40 runners. All of you made a concerted effort to make the most of the day and certainly helps generate the atmosphere.
I would also like to extend (if I may on behalf of the forum) a big thanks to Betfair for their generous contribution to, and support of, the BFWCOP.
For those who are not aware, Betfair's involvement ensured we were able to use the venue privately, make use of the VIP lounge, enjoy refreshments and get some excellent value in both the team and main events. A big thanks to Matt Mowlam and the other three Betfair reps who were there right through to the early hours and took the time to meet with and discuss things with the players.
Secondly Thank you for all your patience and understanding. There were a few things I could have organised a bit better and will make notes to ensure we improve things for next year. As mentioned, it was a tough week for me and those around me, but given the overall satisfaction levels, it has all been totally worth while.
Thirdly Well done to all the winners! I was particularly please to see that the ladies who attended all held their ground. Sonia (alexsmum) was unlucky not to cash but IvorBigOne, BF Princess and my wife Mrs Klup all managed to win something - now i have a poker trophy at home and its not even mine!
Team Event Winners: Clive Moore (dont know alias) Cheryl Carl (Mrs Klup) Andy Cairns (AJ Cairns) Dave Underwood (Final Insult)
Team Event Runner Ups: Ben Cundall (dont know alias) Gary Solomons (Dont know alias) Keith Arnold (Keith A) Barry Guildford (Gilfie)
Main Event - last the longest: 1) Georgina Burke (BF Princess) 2) Gary Solomons (Dont know alias) 3) Chris Ackland (BFWingDing2) 4) Tim Speers (Dont know alias)
Fourthly - please feel free to post constructive feedback for improvement and also identify positives.
Negatives 1) Should have had money for winners already in an envelope 2) Bracelets for drinks tickets - and drinks should have been on option from VIP lounge 3) A better camera to hand for photos - maybe engage someone (betfair staff member) to update forum so that we can follow action? 4) Team draw should have been based on seat numbers so we all knew exactly who our partners were 6) Try not clash with cricket 7) Food not to a great standard, or so im told as i hardly got time to eat 8) Betfair memorabilia never made it
Positives: 1) Lots of poker on offer after team event (two tourneys £112 & £30) and ample cash tables 2) Venue was good 3) Betfair reps present 4) Seeing Mr & Mrs Dozey and several new faces at the event 5) Structure felt right to me!
Suggestions: 1) Main event a Re-Buy (horrible seeing doobs go out early once again!) 2) A group photo at the beginning
Finally We have a $1000 Invitational Freeroll for all those who attended ILPP Live - so that includes all of those at BFWCOP. For those who attended and want to play the freeroll - either email me at dinos@iloveplayingpoker.com or post in the NEW THREAD - DONT POST ALIASES HERE!
