WTF is this preselect next action ...fold i understand ...call .. if you select call and someone raises all in before it comes to you .are you calling this bet ...??? if so that option has to go its wrong ..very wrong

If you select ‘call’ it will call the current bet. If somebody then raises the pot before your turn to act you will then have to choose again. You will not automatically call any raise by checking this.

what have you done to your poker site?
I have been playing betfair poker 1 for well over a year. Generally happy with what you provided, with few glitches though could never get the Poker buddy to automatically load my hand histories.

where do I start SB and BB identical, 5 max, Avatars, Chat from random tables, Repeated Disconnection.

The SB and BB are not the same on all tables - it is just PLO. This is just a replication of offline poker.
There are 6max tables exclusive to Betfair available in the lobby.
Avatars can be turned off in settings (highly recommended by us)
Random chat - as far as we know there is lobby chat and table chat. What have you seen that is frustrating you.

Some good and valid questions there. We have answered in line below.
1) if you don't have control over things is there any point in asking for sensible things like auto reload, sensible sized tables and not having the software stupidly resource heavy
- There certainly is. We are proud of what we built with our old software, and a large part of the feature set was built on the back of player feedback we received. In future, while we are not building the features ourselves, we are working with our software suppliers as one of their principle customers to make sure that our players' wishes are we taken into account in their product's plans. Please continue to forward your feedback to us and we hope to see the most popular feature requests implemented in future releases.

We've had this question before, and we think our previous answer still stands:
1. Betfair Promotions + Bonuses – continuous high value promos for all levels of player, from freeroll series to cash leaderboards.
2. Rakeback/Loyalty – if the player is already on RB then this is a unique chance for them to earn RB on Ongame. If there are not then our loyalty scheme gives back maximum value allowed by Ongame at every level so they will not be able to get better value anywhere else.
3. Betfair Cashier – the ease and speed of depositing and withdrawing funds to and from Betfair is the industry's best.
4. Betfair only tourneys and cash tables – we have implemented tourneys and cash tables that are only accessible through the Betfair Poker 2 client, for Betfair players.
5. Discounted sports exchange commission through poker play.

There are sats for various events such as the Irish Poker classic and the GSOP but no details of these on your site. I have progressed through 2 rounds of the former but have no idea what the package is that I am playing for.
Could you also update the MTT leaderboard.

1. There was far more lagging on Sunday afternoon/evening, is this due to traffic?
2. Allow chat at table from observers - this is important to many of us.
3. GSOP looks better than IPoker's ECOOP,agree with Daryl, get some details on this.
4. More sensible, non-turbo satellites to ChampionChip, the 50 seat turbo was a complete crapshoot.
5. When i resize tables the font is fine but the chips look like specs, dont resize them.
Overall I'm very happy with the move.

mtoto2, we have noted the concerns expressed on the forum about the accuracy of the results. We need more time to make absolutely sure the results are correct, and will update accordingly as soon as possible.
Please remember though that the leaderboards only takes a small sample of single table SnGs (between 35 and 70 max); a player could very well have a specific result over this small sample and a very different one over a larger number of games.

i understand that but the players at the top in question haven't even played that many games.
I have not decided yet whether I will use betfair 2, as it is still early days for me. As a relative beginner of less than one year I am still trying to find the kind of poker that suits me. I only know that since the upgrade I have used william hill more than usual. I think this was an opportunity missed, the site is very basic, certainly not an 'upgrade'.
THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THE NEW SITE
1. Front page chat
2. Better cards, I can see flushes etc more clearly
3. More fixed limit games, but unfortunately only 5 or 10 and then because of no waiting lists it is extreemly annoying trying to get a game. I usually give up and go on willhill, where there are waiting lists.
THINGS I DO NOT LIKE ABOUT THE SITE
1. NO WAITING LISTS. How on earth can you have a poker site with no waiting lists? I like fixed limit games and was looking forward to getting a game more easily at low limits. Unfortunately now it is a nightmare to get on one. They are usually all full tables so you have to wait until there is a seat free, but then you click the table and the seat is gone - urghh. ( I would have put a devil smiley there, but it is not working, quelle surprise ).
2. NO FIND PLAYER LISTS
3. NO CHOICE OF TURBO CASH GAMES. The time allowed is too much on some games and there is no turbo option. It seems the time allowed is the same for all games, whereas on the old betfair you could choose turbo, super turbo and beginner.
4. NO NATIONALITY GIVEN
5. NO POSITION IN TOURNIES NEXT TO NAME IN GAME. You have to go to game info for your position, whereas in betfair 1 it was right in front of you.
5. NO EXTRA FILTERS
6. FOLDED CARDS NOT ON GAME BOARD. The folded cards are there but you have to go to game info for it, betfair 1 had it right in front of you.
7. NO OBSERVER CHAT. Even if you do not chat much it was nice when people commented 'good game' when you left, now you cannot reply to them.
8. NO CHOICE OF AVATARS. I do not like avatars and have them switched off. However, if someone is playing me with his avatars on I can be represented by someone completely different to me, usually a man. In William Hill, you can choose who you want to be represented by, so if someone is playing me they see a woman I have chosen.
9. NO 2000 SNGS OR TOURNIES. I used to play almost exclusively 2000 sngs - now I have none. Why are they almost all 1500 starting stacks?
10. SATELLITE, BUT NO CLUE TO TOURNEY. Not sure about this one but someone mentioned it.
11. NO WARNING YOU ARE ABOUT TO CLOSE. I have sometimes clicked on the exit by mistake and usually on betfair 1 you would get a warning, now you exit straight away and have to re enter.
12. WHY 5 SEATER, BUT 10 CHAIRS
13. HARDLY ANY POT LIMIT. In betfair 1 you did have some but now I do not see any - I was looking forward to playing more pot limit.
14. HAND HISTORIES ARE AWFUL. In betfair 1 there were several features which are not in the 'upgrade'.
15. ONLY 5 TABLES OR 10 TABLES. Again I have had to go to willhill to get a six max table.
16. NO DEEPSTACK TOURNIES
17. TAKING NOTES IS TERRIBLE. The screen freezes, I think when it is your turn, so trying to make notes in short handed games is impossible - again in will hill there is not a problem.
18. 'YOU ARE OUT OF THIS TOURNEMENT - LEAVE' This is an awful message. Surely it should say something like sorry you have failed this time, but better luck next time ?

20. CANNOT SUPPORT MULTI TABLING? I tried to do three tables and the cards would not display, then at the last minute they did but too late and i was folded with ak suited - urrgh!
21. CANNOT CHANGE COLOUR OF TABLE. Cards look better on certain colour tables, but now it is like it or lump it.
22. CANNOT PLAY IN POUNDS OR EUROS. I know you could not on betfair 1, but I had hoped you could on the 'upgrade'. I enjoy playing in pounds on willhill as it seems more real, especially when you win!
I am sure there are several more, but that is what I have found so far.
I would like to add that the customer service is still the same, mainly useless. Why don't you make it a condition that anyone on the helpdesk plays poker in their own time, so they know what you are talking about. I have phoned about several things since the upgrade and the only one who was any good was 'ED' WHO WAS BRILLIANT. He understood what I was asking and guided me through the new site. The others did not know hardly anything and, as usual, kept asking me to hold on while they spoke to someone more senior and more able to help.

I did not really expect an answer, pokerpr, it was just that I can type and most posters on here cannot, so I thought it would be a good idea to have the niggles in print so maybe someone in authority can see how they have missed a golden opportunity to really 'upgrade'. I was asked by your customer service dept to email them with the list as they wanted the feedback, but I thought it was better being seen on here.
i think the upgrade is excellent.however i have 2 questions.
i have won a $30 championchip step 3 ticket. the green ticket logo only appears next to an 18 person sit and go.i have been checking every day at different times and the most entries it has ever had is 2.it simply does not get close to filling up ever.what am i supposed to use this ticket for? there are plenty of $25 dollar step 3 games i could play if it let me enter and credited me with the difference.
my second question is "why can you not sychronize breaks in your tourneys?"
two other minor points of issue are no find player and no country of origin.these have prob been mentioned but have not read thread yet.(typing this in one of your non synchronised breaks)
otherwise excellent.played here for years.dont really get why everyone is moaning.

why is there an exclusive limit option for poker, exchange games, arcade etc but not for sports betting??

1. No Waiting Lists – while we appreciate they are useful, waiting lists can also stop new games getting started. The software used to have waiting list and when they removed them many complained. However, once players got used to the new game selection they found they were getting better tables when they did get a seat.
2. No buddy list – we agree that there should be a tool for players to find their friends at tables and are looking at solutions to allow this to happen.
3. No choice of turbo cash games – we do have the ability to create Betfair only turbo cash tables and if we do get demand to introduce them then we’ll be happy to set some up.
4. No nationality – yes, we have had players complain about this. Again it’s due to be added as a feature in the poker room in the mid term.
5. No tourney position – we see your point here. It’s a feature that we’d like to add.
5a. No extra filters – afraid we’re not sure what you mean here. There are more filters options within the new lobby than we previously had. Is there a particular which is no longer there and you miss?

- As mentioned before - this kind of feedback is great for us. We'll take this feedback, estimate how popular they are amongst our players, and request them from our software partners.

- See your point. Fortunately everyone playing in this room sees the exact same avatar at all tables at the same position, so this is not as important in this room.

- We can certainly look into this as well. If enough demand, we can develop this format more.

6. FOLDED CARDS NOT ON GAME BOARD. The folded cards are there but you have to go to game info for it, Betfair1 had it right in front of you.
- As mentioned before - this kind of feedback is great for us. We'll take this feedback, estimate how popular they are amongst our players, and request them from our software partners.
7. NO OBSERVER CHAT. Even if you do not chat much it was nice when people commented 'good game' when you left, now you cannot reply to them.
- We are eager to keep the good-natured Betfair community feel on Betfair Poker 2. This will be one area we look at to maintain this amongst others.
8. NO CHOICE OF AVATARS. I do not like avatars and have them switched off. However, if someone is playing me with his avatars on I can be represented by someone completely different to me, usually a man. In William Hill, you can choose who you want to be represented by, so if someone is playing me they see a woman I have chosen.
- See your point. Fortunately everyone playing in this room sees the exact same avatar at all tables at the same position, so this is not as important in this room.
9. NO 2000 SNGS OR TOURNIES. I used to play almost exclusively 2000 sngs - now I have none. Why are they almost all 1500 starting stacks?

i think the upgrade is excellent.however i have 2 questions.
i have won a $30 championchip step 3 ticket. the green ticket logo only appears next to an 18 person sit and go.i have been checking every day at different times and the most entries it has ever had is 2.it simply does not get close to filling up ever.what am i supposed to use this ticket for? there are plenty of $25 dollar step 3 games i could play if it let me enter and credited me with the difference.
my second question is "why can you not sychronize breaks in your tourneys?"
two other minor points of issue are no find player and no country of origin.these have prob been mentioned but have not read thread yet.(typing this in one of your non synchronised breaks)

I have spoken several times over the years to supervisors of betfair who know me and know my card is registered to a woman as well. I just get fed up as being referred to as a 14 ton trucker.

Could Betfair be so kind as to state definitively that once the pack has been shuffled by the TRNG absolutely no further manipulation is made in the order the cards come out on the table - ie they are dealt exactly the same as they would be in a live poker game.

We know that you like the ability to find people and we also know that despite having an adverse impact on learning players it is something that was popular on the old site.
Although there are no immmediate plans to implement this we have taken these comments on board and are working with Ongame to see if we can find a compromise that suits everyone. We may possibly just have this function for Betfair Players. Your suggestion about both people having to agree to let people find them is a sensible one and if this does get developed it would probably work on this principal.
We don't want to promise anything at this stage but hope we can find a solution soon.

Once the deck has been shuffled by the RNG no further manipulation of the cards happens. They are dealt as they would be in a casino after this process.

You have access to my records which show my debit card registered to a woman and you can speak to the customer service dept, both poker and sports, where there are several who know me by now. The fact that one of Annies questions related to the colour of the table surely proves she is a woman.
Talking about "annie" being a woman what does everyone think of the new Pokerstars Women's league. Having sponsored Annette for over three years I know she wasn't a fan as she believed that the sexes shouldn't be separated. Cards are Cards after all and they don't favour one sex more than another. The counter argument might be that there is good value and they don't have put to up with sexist comments at the table. Is it legal to enforce?

Annie - some sad, and immature, individuals out there. You would think that once they knew you were offended by it they would stop. i thought this was a joke originally but now i realise its serious. annie you need to realise bf have so many more important things to deal with than whether ppl address you as a woman or not on the forum. this is kind of a paradox because although it seems serious to you i'd guess everyone else treats it as a joke now.

tables of five or six places can not have normal seats.
Players can sit at the table of 5 seats on 10 seats. So everything is messy and if I play at multiple tables with Holdem manager started I can`t understand anything.

akabula, this Worl Championship of Poker that you're laughing and taking the pee out of has always been a social even when players on Betfair poker got together to socialise and become friends. It's always been open to every single person on this forum and the three that I've been to have had 80+ people there every time. I would've thought you'd be able to understand this and not actually laugh at it as, judging by your comments on another thread, your main gripe seems to be that you can't play with your mates on the new site and have a chat.
I have no issues with the idea but to answer SOC and to get to the point I was making why should any of the money generated by betfair poker players be used to subsidize people who don't play on the site and indicate they left because they either didn't like it or got a better deal elsewhere and have no intention of coming back. Is a joke that they benefit from this.

Apologies if this has been addressed, but I do not have the time to wade through all the posts as Annie's gender does not concern me. Yes, I am also aware I missed the Q&A, but if any BFPR's are still around ---------- I do wonder with Bwin and Party merging how long will we even play on this skin. When the merger goes through will it stay the same, change to Party's skin, will a whole new one appear or is it still up in the air?

If you are feeling a bit left out with the lack of chat at the tables, you should go to BFWCOP. Best place to meet everyone you talk to online. SoC is actually quite nice when you get to know him, though it looks like a few of you have managed to tilt him somewhat.

Firstly as somebody who is easily tilted, aa beat by two rags normally does it for me, I do sincerely apologise for putting you on tilt as I know how expensive this can be. I probably have been a bit strong in my comments but I can't help how I feel regards peep not playing on betfair but using the forum for anything other than contacting m8s. Can't quite see how table chat is unfair to people learning to play poker, anyway the old site gave the option to turn chat off, so if they were bothered by chat the newbies could do so surely?
If it's them you are worried about helping then surely "find player" option could be a great help to them as they could find and watch good players and learn from them.
Only being able to "find a friend" with their permission would be a logistical nightmare, how much time would WE spend permitting and rejecting requests?

probably not. to be honest most of us have either left or are playing the majority of our poker elsewhere. looking at the current stt leaderboard theres only the account sharing foreigners and the colluders left playing any volume.

As a matter of interest, assuming it was a level playing field, and ignoring which game you were best at, what would be the optimum game to play in order to give you a chance of winning a sng leaderboard? I myself only tend to play the 30 seat turbos, $3, $5, $10 which I enjoy as a sideline to mtts. I said to myself I would only play $3 & $5 until I showed a $200 profit on Sharkscope - which took me roughly 800 games - lol. Now I'm playing $5 & $10 tourneys and am up to $320. If I get to $400, will go to 5$, $10 & $20. Been amazed at my self discipline.

no probs with them having a leaderboard. my issue is that ALL promos are geared towards high volume players ( theres a rakerace AND a leaderbaord thats a rake race) and nothing for anyone else paying over the industry standard to play.
