I've played a few D2N's where there has been a sit out at the table. Now I know its an unwritten rule that you nick all there blinds but on a couple of occasions someone has said "Don't bet until we knock him out".

Should you report them?

Personally I hate any of that as I would hate it done to me but I've never reported anyone.

Another similar thing happened to me just now on a D2N. I pushed short stacked and one player said "Check call him". Fortunately everyone folded and I nicked the blinds but had 2 done as he said then I would probably been knocked out. Again should this be reported?

What are everyone else's views?

Reporting these things to betfair seems unproductive as their fine with **ing on their site, but this wnt change unless you keep pushing them to do something so yes report

Why don't they turn the chat off in these things?

I guess I'd report them....before finding out that it's a 1.01 chance that nothing will happen, and then find another site where collusion is taken seriously.

ipoker turn the chat off dont they - on the other hand got to expect to be targeted as the shortstack, regardless of the format

That is exactly the sort of thing I reported 3 weeks ago - a player issuing a betting instruction to another player on the bubble.
Betfair insist that it is "just coffeehousing" and not collusion or an attempt to collude. Obviously it is an attempt to collude but Betfair poker bods are clueless and you'll get nowhere complaining.

Is there an easy way to report stuff or is it a case of taking screenshots and going through the "contact us" procedure which didn't work last time i tried.

Had similar incidents but couldn't be bothered going through the rigmarole if nothing gets done anyway.

should suspend chat on bubble ... and hand 4 hand in mtts for that matter - but that would mean another upgrade !!!!!
Report Lisa Simpson February 21, 2010 3:31 PM GMT
As far as I know Jim its contact them via the link or by email.
But what's the point when they don't pick up on even the clearest examples?

exactly why I moved site

Customer Service? I voted with my feet cause I got so fed up with the:

downtime
getting money back due to above - you have to really argue with them!
getting told to delete all cookies etc etc
software freezing
collusion - not just implied - but blatant in the chat

Getting the feeling that they don't know what their talking about / doing etc.
