Yesterday i bubbled in the $12K GTD winning entry into the following days tourney but had already qualified via Sat.
Thought perhaps BF might give me entry in the day afters or something (any consolation would of done) but no turns out (after calling) that your two seats become one..end of!!

surely you can unregister from a game so long as its not started, just like most other sites?
I got it once and called them up cause couldn't play the next day and they changed the day for me.
AMENDED RESULT!!!
Betfair have just called me to apologise and that i was wrongly informed (!!!!!) in this matter and that in this case the protocol is that I AM entitled to another seat in the $12K GTD and that i can choose to play on any given day of my choice!!
So there you go, how the wind changes eh??
Anyway so now you know where you stand should it happen to you!!

Was a clear mistake - you probably spoke to some non poker geeza who had no power to act on anything.

Par for the course with Betfair customer service.
You ring up they deny everything, usually imply you are lying then once you prove your point they back down at a later date.
