Just arrived in Melbourne last night and looking forward to a successful Event for Team Betfair players. Keep updated on your fellow players' progress via my Tweets as Betfair Poker and give them your support!
Also, look into my blogs to see that myself and others have been up to on the Betting.Betfair website or view the link below:
Peter was chip leader for most of the 7 card stud final table but was extremely unlucky in a huge pot with 3 left that would have all but given him the win and the Aussie Millions ring. Four cards had been dealt and he needed any club, any ace, any jack, any 7 or any 8 in the remaining 3 cards and it would have been all but over. They all blanked. Chelsea M

Yeah, big big shame. Guy missed a million cards with 3 to come and the eventual winner took that pot with a pair of 4's in the end. Not easy to win the biggest pot of the day with only a pair of 4's in seven card stud! If it had been holdem bif would have shoved the river and taken the pot of course but you cant do that in stud. Big shame, but Bifta was upbeat as always. Im ok thanks - around the average with 42000 so will be a stressful day but hopefully I'll get some kind of momentum going today and who know's. Im playing ok. just getting ready to meet bifta and philly for a breakfast and we start again in about an hour and a half. Hope youre well M8 and best wishes to all. Chelsea M

And a promise not to tell you about my bad beat in the bounty event with 80 left where I was one of the bigger stacks and an "internet whizzkid" re popped my aces all in preflop with 65 and hit 239, and 4 turn. ;-)

Don't have it out with me unfortunately, I saw a lot of kilts about the ground though. Cilic match should be cracking cause the croat fans can get pretty rowdy.

Also, John Taba and Back2Back are doing well in the $1,000 Freezeout and the last 18 also play later on today!

Where were you Simon, I would have worn your badge (for free) all the way to victory and you could have had another "Betfair" champion but you never turned up. Anyway and Im officially NLHE/PLO champion and got a ring to show for it. I may never be a Sorrel or a Obrestad - or a John tabatabai who by the way is an absolute gentleman as well as a class act - (but please don't write me off because I will be working hard on my game) Thanks Guys- I deeply and truely appreciate alll of your kind words. Thank You Sir. I'm still not sure that I woke up this morning and this will all turn out to be a very bad joke! 3 handed I got sucked out and was left with 18,000 with a 180,000 stack on my SB and a 240,000 stack on my BB. Just shows, fairytales do happen to ordinary guys too. Anyway, its 7pm here and I'm off to bed. Sad but true. See you all online soon. Over and out.......

Very well played, but well done to betfair for giving you support(Good luck to all, Chelsea - I will come round no problems! Thanks for letting me know!) He was proberly brown nosing the pros instead of watchin out for the people who keep the site going. VWD Sir.

Chief - as per facebook message - Brilliant, VWP, couldn't have happened to a better or more deserving bloke!
But as I've always maintained, it was more a matter of when, not if!
Next stop - is to get yourself one of them WSOP bracelets!

Im not going to add anymore to this thread otherwise I'll bore all of you to death but just a few final thoughts, It actually means a lot when so many people that you have never met (and a few you have) reach out to you. You didnt have to give me all of these kinds words but you did and for that and for the final time, a personal Thank You to all of you and I wish each and every one of you all of the best.
WD for your 2nd Doobs, top result. You're a great player and I can pick out at least 7 more from the list above that I have utmost respect for.
Final thought, I was about to pack it all in after this trip. I played the Aussie Millions bounty last week and someone repopped my aces all in with 4,5 thinking I cold never call. I had a huge stack and would have cashed (if not final tabled) if my aces had held up. I finished 130th in the main event when my ak couldnt hold up against aq. I played a 5k in the WSOP last year and went out with 120 left (out of 800) when a guy shoved on me against my aces (and monster flop) and hit a 1 outer on the river. I never thought this was ever going to happen
.............................and then it suddenly did.
I guess its true what they say, every dog has their day.
God Bless you all, good luck and thanks again to you all.
This time Im really Outta here and back to my Kennel. See you on Betfair poker again soon!

Congratulations Chelsea - I stayed in the poker room looking till about 3pm but had to go up to Studio 3 to follow the Final Table. Very well played and I look forward to saying hello tomorrow at the players party.
Annette finished a respectable 7th in the Main Event and Sorel got unlucky when moving all in with 77 and called by AK. A King on the turn sealed his faith and he managed 3rd place.
A very successful Aussie Millions this year with 2 Betfair players getting Championship rings and a lot more cashing in! It is now almost 03:30 and I am shattered so good night to all!

for the betfair rep there next time you on one of these things. go to reception find out which room your player is in and stick an envelope under his door with a betfair patch and a gl mesage- maybe even an offer to meet up for breafast. When I used to play these things all the time it has to be said the service we got from the betfair team was unrivalled by any site and other online qualifiers used to wish they had qualified on betfair. To have a player at the final table without the support of the site that got him there isnt good and it wouldnt have happened in years gone by.

Yep "M" st ars hoodoo well and truly broken, though I probably did that when I finished 2nd in a $50 rebuy on a sunday a couple of months ago. Now I just need to win my next flip heads up, though I did run pretty hot to get through to the last two. Don't want to start getting 2nd every time on there.
Just wish the million and the super tuesday wern't on so late.
Oh and get a big final table live, to keep up with Chelsea ofc.

Just to be clear, I have always met up with those who I promised to meet. Unfortunately, Chelsea's mobile does not work in Australia and I couldn't just call and meet up when I didn't see him.
Anyways, congratulations once again and an FYI - Tyron Krost won the Main Event..
