I used to play poker s'n'g's around 2 years ago at this site for medium to low stakes and there was never a shortage of players. A table usually filled up within minutes. Why now is it taking hours to fill up a table and get some action - the recession? no american players? What the hell is going on here? Any insight is much appreciated as usual ;)
The problems playing on here m8 have been reported time and time again... with no improvements so basically all the sensible players moved to better poker sites
To name but a few problems... collusion, chipdumping, buggy unreliable software, large cpu usuage when connected, disconnects for no apparent reason, sudden exceptional fatal errors crashing and freezing of the software, an rng with no monthly verification on randomness reports, outdated copyright notices, poor support, unpunished use of non english chat...
So you are left with bingo 1/2/5 min sats to even more bingo 5 min mtts, 10/15 min gtd tournaments values all dropped, empty sngs, 2dns... etc etc
Average Seats taken Betfair 2600 Average Seats taken Pokers*ars 176,000
Says it all!!! Pity because I liked playing on Betfair poker and unless improvements are made it is ultimately... doomed !!!

I must admit that there are many faults here. I mean even basic features of the software like the folded cards option do not work. The tables are not policed nearly well enough too.
Having said that, I do think the style of the interface is the best around. My experience is that its not too hard to make money in the MTT's although it is a long haul to win tourneys like the $220 gtd which can take 4 hours and have prizes only down to 3. So you have to put up with bubbling quite often.
I also play at 4 other providers, usually in much bigger tourneys. No doubt everything works better there, but you really have to adjust your style to playing against folks who will push and call with anything, yielding to a very high variance.
I reckon I will keep plugging away here while I am still making money on average, but I agree the site could be a whole lot better.
