"Example, you hold A27K... Flop is 368... At this stage you have nut low..... but if an Ace drops on the turn then your hand becomes a '7' low and is beaten by so many hands now."

why is your low hand still not 8-6-3-2-A?

I know you have to play 2 cards in your hand and three on the board... is it different in h/l where you have to play unique cards too?

because A-2-3-6-7 is better than A-2-3-6-8...its the best 5 card low hand

the board is now 2-3-6-8 meaning A4 becomes nut low. your A7 is eaven beat by A-5 4-5 etc

obv youve insulted me that youve only asked guru but nevertheless....
its still 3 from board and 2 from hand

and 8 6 3 2 A can be bettered by you if you can use any five lower cards , ie,even 76543 and using your example 27 from your hand and a36 from the baord, a2367

now depending on the situ your bare low can be very strong or very weak, impos to say which without specific info.

11th of 66 at the mo with 45 paid...

just trying to concentrate on playing hands with chances at both and avoiding middling cards...

arse... gone in 16th.

did most of it with two pair + the nut low draw which missed... against a man who'd hit top set with the case K..... sigh....

and then flopped two pair with the rest but ran into someone flopping a straight plus the nut low. two nasty spots :(

enjoyed that - not the faintest idea what I was doing but won $56 for my $22 :)
