Volumes 1&2. Anyone read these and can offer any opinions on them? Good reviews on Amazon and was thinking of buying them. TIA.

What little cash I play at low stakes, normally 10c/20c - I don't win at, and I'd like to know where I'm going wrong. Thought these books might be good place to start. However, I've got all 3 of Harrington tourney books, got 1/2 way through the 1st, and thought sod it, I'd rather be playing.

If HOH was not for you then don't bother with HOC imo.

The books are a little outdated, (any good book should), but it is still worth reading, especially if moving from tourney to cash,& for anyone who received HOH well since the format and writing style is the same. The value probably lies in comparing differences in mtt v cash by discussing HOH v HOC.

Worth noting also that you cannot read only Vol 1. Similar to HOH Vol 1+2, it is one book in 2 parts.
