Won't do poker unless you can connect it to your own PC with vnc.
Betfair do have an iphone specific interface, it works but it is limited.

Get the 3GS if you have a choice, much faster than the 3G

Is the betfair app fast and reliable? I want to be able to place back & lay bets, nothing much more, but want fast and painless?


PS have an iphone app in the pipeline, without needing vnc back to own PC, but wont be around in very near term.

Can you play poker on your phone?

you can remote access your home PC and work it that way, far from ideal but possible. PS looking at a direct app in near future, though no date given. Betfair will match this by running a failed app which cost several million, then ask everyone to play a superturbo before leaving home and be satisfied that it is the same as playing on the move.

I am a beginner at poker so I asked Betfair Customer Service if they did poker on mobile and she said yes. I then further enquired how to go about it and she said to hold on, she then came back to me to say she was mistaken!! I, thank god, do not have to phone them hardly at all now, but they were no help to a beginner - in fact the opposite. I do not think some of them play poker at all, an awful state of affairs.

There is one site that i know advertises it ...Mobile Phone poker, but i havent tried it.
