If your tight aggressive stay here, loose aggressive any B2B site. Stars and FT both have the greatest variety and the most games running but you can't get rrake back. Whichever you choose, make sure you get RB. There's a few forumites who can help you on that score.

Downside is Stars has by far the hardest fields. Betfair and all other Euro sites are super soft in comparison. So if you are just looking for a casual game, just find the Euro site the has the tourneys you want to play and go there. And if your casual**doesn't really matter IMO, its a bonus but you will never play the volume for it really to be of benefit.

It does matter, even for casual players. I got $350 back last year, which was about 14% of my profit. If you go through an affiliate, you don't need to pass thresholds to get it and it is like giving away money not to sign up for it.

Disagree with your thought on cake. I caked over $1k last year playing 1 and 2 tables, $2.50 to $10. I wouldn't be playing any more than 250 games pm. This puts any initial start up bonus into insignificance, besides start up bonuses require you to play a load of hands anyway so you need the volume to get them.
Always go for cake.

Not sure if that's my total cake on rakebraain or my**but it does help. The only thing I don't like about betfair is that cake is incorporated straight into your balance. If it was separated it could be kept as a nice bonus until the end of the year.

I was investigating this supposedly awesome promo a site was running ... i was about to go for a $2000 first deposit bonus, and to chase the points down
the site in question is irrelevant as they all work in a similar fashion:
figured i would crack the points needed by multitabling $30 stts ...
and at the end of January, get a yummy $2k bonus, and then use the rewards for electronic stuff or cash rewards ...
Here is live chat:
Please wait for a site operator to respond. You are now chatting with 'Jane'
Jane: Welcome to Live Chat, My name is Jane, How may I assist you?
Constandinos Patrinos: If i do a $2000 first deposit bonus, and win the points i need to cash my bonus. Will i still have my bonus points / crowns or are these offset against the bonus payment i receive?
Jane: One moment please while I have a look at your account.
Constandinos Patrinos: i have not made a deposit yet
Jane: the points you win go to redeem your bonus and are not converted to crowns
Constandinos Patrinos: lol
Constandinos Patrinos: so its a false bonus
Jane: when you have no running bonus your points go towards crowns
Constandinos Patrinos: its a false bonus ... u say first deposit bonus, but you take it away from rewards
Jane: this is in the terms and conditions
Constandinos Patrinos: thats all, thanks and happy new year!
