Failed miserably and 50 down... 2nd hand from break i re-raise a raise with ak on the bb shortstacked... she had qq and wins. Rebuy and then I whittle down to 3k.. I then re-raise a small raise with 77 v 99. Was hoping for a A rag race atleast.

A game that requires a spot of the poker gods to intervene.

You re-raised twice with coinflip hands at best and lost. It must be difficult for your +EV when you run so bad, especially when 55-45 dog , then about 80-20 dog. Keep wearing those awful hoodies and trying to act like a stereotypical poker gimp, (not difficult when osmosis kicks in - Keep looking in that and mirror and repeating ad infinitum - "I am a fvcking poker God"), and telling (the extremely bored) people, how you always manage to get your money in ahead, when you run bad.

Keep watching Jessie May and aquiesing with his co-commentators. Soon too, you will run golden.

splasher I dont think reraise with AK is a coinflip at best, far from it.
Report Splasher December 29, 2009 1:06 AM GMT
Unless my poker brain has fallen apart, I still believe Ax v any pp all in pre flop is about a 55-45 dog.
AK v QQ would tend to fall into this category. I look forward to your reply with anticipation...

pointless discussion anyway cause nobody knows the table dynamics apart from the OP.
Report Soap December 29, 2009 1:20 AM GMT
Apoligies Splasher, I thought you meant they were coinflips at best at the point he raised.

I see now you meant when cards were turned over.

Shut it soap. Get back to Emmerdale Farm or whatever it is you Northern Monkeys do on a Thursday night.

Any more of your drivel and I'll revive the pantry and send you down for a spell.

I can confirm that AK is not a coinflip. In fact it could not win an invite to a timeshare seminar. The same can be said for:

AA
TT
66
QJ
AQ

And being a huge favourite on the flop is just a tease.

Poker is GAY
