Going on from that, Ii suppose it is possible for someone to make £50K in a year. But i wonder how many who have done so can do it year after year. In other words, ruling out the "lucky" years, how many can average £50K p.a.

being able to order up your years salary in advance in this game is ridiculous, and going by your posts it sounds like you are thinking about having a go at it.... first of all you need a bankroll and find a level of game u are comfortable with and can consistently beat, it also helps if u have a clue about the game your playing... whether u make any money or not only time will tell, but a v good player who is disciplined and has good bankroll management could make easy 50k a year and upwards to millions.....

To be honest I'm not sure I could do poker for less than 100K per year. It seems like a soul-destroying occupation. Not sure how many people could make that sort of return year-on-year.

Less than 1% make over £20k from sports betting on Betfair. So how do poker players compare?
By:

When: 22 Dec 09 23:20

Should the title not be what % of poker professionals make 50k plus.
By:
Soap
When: 23 Dec 09 19:00
no as then would exclude tha part time poker player who has a job and makes over 50k at poker.
