What stakes?

prob $50 stts, suppose the question is a bit silly cos varies on how much u need.
suppose the main thing i'm asking is - from reading the forum it seems most "pro's" multi table - DOES ANY1 MAKE A WAGE OFROM STTS FROM ONLY 2 TABLES AT A TIME. |

I have no idea about a wage mate but if you can get 6 9 handers going at the same time you should be able to chip a decent amount off the block.

10% roi is very decent return on stts these days single table games that is. two $50 games at a time thats prob 3.5 hours to play 10,return $50., if you play 14 hours a day then i guess ends will meet, but not much of a life.

So realisticly, theres not a chance of making much unless i up the amount of table - unless u run as golden as keith A.

FFsmd prob has it nailed on with regards to what your winrate would be roughly. But obviously it will be nothing like that cos variance will either make you rich or poor in such a small game sample :D

sng is a hard way to make a wage unless your putting in high volume, playing 2 tables 8 hrs a day u might scrape 50-100£ all depends how much u need to make...only way to make real money is to put in high volume and eat some serious cake....

cash tables the bigger earner? Has this been confirmed please. TIA

these days even 10% ROI is almost mpossible, unless u are playing Betfair... in which case u got 10% ra k e to beat so make sure u are on max cakeback
Also a bad run can last 1500-2000 games....so in theory u could go months breaking even if ur only paying 2 at a time why not try playing 3, then 4 etc gradually, and also experiment with multi man sngs etc as well (ie on stars they do 18,27,45,90,180 man stts etc. If I were u tho, in your position... I would forget profits for the above reasons and just try to spin up instead, u'll prob make more that way. just double stakes on HU stts until u get to $1k or sometihng. U will lose a bit, lose a bit, lose a bit,, win a lot, lose a bit, etc etc PLus it's much more fulfilling... |

Ive never had poker as my sole income but i used to make a fair wedge just playing stts and mtts.
I still believe im more suited to tourneys but have spent the bulk of 2009 playing cash, the last 6-7 months playing 6-9 tables. whether you 1 or 20 table you can make comparable amounts at cash or tourneys but the r ake ba ck is not comaparable. you make far more r a ke at cash, end of story and that makes a monumental difference whatever your level imo. other side of the coin is the "big" win is via an mtt or stt spin up. |

what u been playing, hi/lo?
u could argue on the same token that u can spin up easier on the cash tables just by taking a stack and moving up levels... cake cake cake cake mmmmmmm |
