Surely someone does? Poor guy been showing as winning aussie millions package for three weeks. Betfair finally ammend error a few days before promotion is over and he is put back to level 3. He hasn't been playing recently. Who knows how betfair will treat him when he finds out he hasn't won. So if anyone knows him give him a buzz he is not quite there......

out of interest, how is it logical to be at a level, and then drop back down?

Surely they must stand on this? I have just dropped a level when it said i was in.Not that i am fussed it was level 1 but to get to 4 would have taken some serious hours. A disgrace if you ask me

awful for monaco. i played virtually every game he did. i was surprised when he said he had the package wrapped up so early because i was still miles off getting it and was playing every game he was. he was obviously trusting the bf leaderboard and not keeping score himself. he seemed in the chat like he was really looking forward to playing the aussie so he will be gutted when he finds out he is only in a freeroll.

Any explanation from bf as to how the leaderboards could be wrong? not the toughest thing to calculate is it?

It is a bit sickening to find out you havent got a prize you thought u won... but then again for something of that value wouldnt it make sense to check with bfair to make sure it is 100% in the bag, rather than relying on a leaderboard table...

agreed its not hard to calculate ur own points total for 3 months when $18k is on the line

But should you have to? It's what I would EXPECT them to be able to manage properly while I'm committing to playing my ass off for it.

I think it's disgusting.

Yep shocking behaviour.

Im glad it was so easy for you Arbboy, out of interest did you use the same record keeping method as the one you use for recording your 100k per year profit day after day ?.

assume u are fishing joffy as a 2 year old can click on my account and bf point statement every day and record a porgressive points total from one date to another. although its bad by bf do people really think its in bfs interest to give out as many packages as possible? the way they run the site nothing would surprise me if this was done on purpose.

Ardonk makes it up as he goes along. He said he was leaving after the aussie promo yet he is still here. Does he think if he cakes enough he will get two packages? He is almost on MINUS £10,000 on sharkscope. Yet he is 100k up this year? lol. The other night sharkscope was down when he was losing quite a few games or he be past -£10,000 already.

What I can't understand with this promotion, is that to my knowledge, there is nowhere to click and keep a track of your progress, unlike previous promotions such as cash backs and stax etc. When I first looked at the promotion, I would have had to have generated about 1000 pts a day to get into the lowest sat, which would have meant me probably playing some cash & stts on top of my main diet of mtts in order to reach the total, but because there was no easy way of checking your progress I soon lost interest and BF have lost out on potential rake.

This is more complicated than it appears -

He has actually sold the package.

sick if he has sold the package he doesnt actually have and the guy which has bought it has booked flights etc. could be interesting

Betfair should be 100% liable in my opinion.

The buyers been called and told he has the package ... he is also a big and well respected player on this site, so naturally you expect betfair to honour it

I wonder if points decay / depreciation has been factored in making it look like the points have come down?

No other logical explanation for it.

i'd be super surprised if its not honoured.

Buyer was called when the sale was made

I dont think betfair will honour it, in the past they have always claimed.....it was a genuine mistake which does in law give them outs, but they have played this card prob to many times, i hope they can find it in themselfs not to be cnuts but i hold little hope.

Nah he not big or well known. Other players in same boat have realised and played (many at a loss) to make the difference up. If none of the affected players made the difference up betfair would not have given out so many packages. Betfair have a tradition of doing this. You have 500,000 or you do not.

So everyone else who was told they were level 4 now has to continue and one player gets let off? Hardly fair now.
