It's probably down to your ISP, no-one else has had the problem.
By:
They did though had a few complaining abt it last night whilst playing
By:
I have problems with this as well. I phoned Betfair and they advised me to uninstall my poker software and install again with the new version. I will try this now and report back.
By:
the prob is intermittent
but a giant pain in the keester @ plo and if they want me to clear cookies..... STOP FARKING SENDING THEM TO MY MACHINE - THAT WILL AVOID THE PROBLEM |
By:
i'm fairly sure chop was being sarcastic, as thats usually one of the standard bf responses when anything goes wrong.
By:
ps i was being sarcastic also :p
HTH :D |
By:
pps so was I :)
By:
surely the only issue here is why people would want to see their foldest cards!
By:
Decade after decade :)
By:
ffs someone must have a reason for seeing what you've folded
dementia? |
By:
I had a reason for wanting to see what i had folded but i forgot what it was now!
What was the question again? Whats betfair? Ah, here comes my warm milk and biscuit! |
By:
I hope I havn't left the cooker on.
I wouldn't want to....... GAS THE BUDGIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
By:
I have uninstalled betfair poker and reinstalled as per their instructions, but the problem still remains. I have phoned them and this time I got someone in England, not Malta. He was much more helpful and is taking it up with the IT department. As the problem comes and goes, sometimes showing folded cards, sometimes not, it may be difficult to resolve.
Canaryboy I am just a beginner at poker, so to see my folded cards and how they would have turned out is very helpful. |
By:
yeah ok i can see the interesting aspect to a beginner
but what's everyone eles's excuse? |
By:
Jesus wept. You want a BMW and yet drive to a fiat dealer to get one. Wake up and smell the coffee. Stop wasting your time doing business with idiots who correctly assume you are the bigger idiot in the first place.

Was that reply to me?

no not particularly annie, just anyone who is still playing on BF and at the same time bemoaning that it is fkn useless whilst knowing full well that it is run by chumps. It is akin to eating dogsh ite and complaining that it tastes foul.
If, as you say you are new to the game, then you will likely move on soon enough or give up anyway. It seems only the few persist here, and the majority of that few moan like feckery. |
By:
I agree with you that Betfair is run by chumps. I have found this out over three years of betting on horseracing and sports, unfortunately on sports there is not viable alternative if you want to back and lay. I have seen that the poker has the same trouble but as I am a beginner I want to progress a little before I go to other sites, because of the new people bonus schemes etc.

Is there such a thing as a sarcastic smiley ?:|
I would have used one if so ;) |

I am just a beginner at poker, so to see my folded cards and how they would have turned out is very helpful. If you didn't know, the cards that flopped wouldn't have been the cards that would've appeared if you were still in the hand. There was a nice long thread about the RNG etc ages ago that everyone was debating the issue on. I'm sure someone else could explain why much better than me though lol. |
By:
Chop, isn't the 'rolling eyes' smiley, however you do it, a sarcastic one?
By:
TJM..... i take it u dont play on betfair then??
By:
I have a revisit every 6 or 12 months and then berate myself for being so stupid as to believe it would have changed without a fanfare of approval to go with it. I'd sooner not play than play on here tbh.
By:
or are u a pro snap player who hasnt mastered poker yet......
By:
I dont see anything wrong with betfair apart from the lobby being a bit quiet and having to wait for games to load..... U have to remember this is a very small site compared to jokers and ft.....
By:
Can't find a rolling eyes smiley :(
This will have to do.... ]:) |
By:
Pity we don't have a decent forum layout. Though this being Betfair......
Check all the smileys on other forum... http://www.vxronline.co.uk/forum/misc.php?do=getsmilies&editorid=vB_Editor_001 |

each to their own 0's. Personally, as a paying customer I struggle to accept:
The software being ancient, cumbersome, fiddly, poorly laid out, unreliable, and a drain on processor. That is not to mention the poor liquidity, absolute dire customer service, and day to day operational**ups. As we know the pace of improvement is like watching paint peel off unassisted, let alone dry. Apart from that the following is quite good. 1 - maybe I'll have to get back to you. |
By:
well i dont find the software to bad, liquidity isnt great but u can always get a game, customer service i have always found quite good, and at least there is someone to actually talk to instead of relying on e mails.... U will never please all the people all the time, there is plenty of sites to choose from so if it dont suit u here then move on.... Unless u are a pro snap player of course u can join my games anytime :)
By:
Now you just sound like ariston. I had you down as somewhat intelligent, with a twisted sense of humour before. You have now entered the slightly remedial or under the thumb group ;-)
By:
And like clockwork another BF farce emerges to reinforce what is already widely known.
By:
just my opinion mate, i honestly dont find it that bad here apart from slow to get going games..... I have played many sites and dont think this is too bad by a long shot... suppose it depends what your looking for....
By:
I'm having trouble with the 'remember folded cards' option too. It's, er, not doing what it says on the tin.
By:
mines not working either
