I dont think you can as your position on him means you have to take the lead. If the hands were reversed then yea you could get away as its not a very drawy board. Im not sure if i make sense but i cant see any other way to play it!

what i mean is if you swaped seats and he reraised you to 55$ you could fold!

fine, vs this type of oppo u always have to go broke
if he is that spewy preflop though u shold surely 4 bet him, cause theres a better than normal chance he gonna ship it in pre with hands that u crush surely usual story tho, u finally get involved with the table donk and he flops a set vs ur overpair... GG :D |

Well it depends on your image I guess. You'd need more than just the two examples mentioned to put your opponent as a loony. If you've been rocky mcrock previously it's probably a fold.

the flopped lookd great, only hand beating me there was aa or set Really Sherlock? Why ask other peoples opinions when you are such a poker genius. |
By:
You've 3 bet pre flop, bet out post flop, and been raised, your hand screams big pair, Would say you are often beaten tbh.

"if he is that spewy preflop though u shold surely 4 bet him" Mavis I never had the chance to 4bet because i 3bet him and he called. Steve F. 09 Dec 14:40 Really Sherlock? Why ask other peoples opinions when you are such a poker genius. WTF is your problem? chop180 09 Dec 14:43 You've 3 bet pre flop, bet out post flop, and been raised, your hand screams big pair, Would say you are often beaten tbh. Yes my hand screams big pair maybe ak but i cant fold to his raise can i? with aj kj even j10 he probly raises me there because he know im gonna cbet whatever flop comes. Then what i just call?? then check turn he bets, icall then havent a clue where i am on the river? im not sure what line i should have taken, maybe smaller reraise preflop and possibly fold to a shove. But i still hate that. |
By:
ur 3rd bet on flop should be smaller to give pretend fold equity behind
By:
i meant to say smaller reraise on flop like u said james, only way i think i can get away from it
By:
But when u say pretend fold equity u mean ur still not folding?? because u may be inducing a shove from aj?
By:
yeah ur not folding. you have an overpair vs a greek in a 3bet pot. pot it pre btw - don't make it easier to callwith small pps.
By:
Agree with smaller reraise on flop. Also, your image up to that point does matter.

Played against ribos loads and he only ever has a set here. aa kk qq he will always try and get it in pre, jx he calls and never raises. Its not like he can even be betting a draw.
