Just finished his book, 'Life's a gamble.' Absolutely fantastic read - such an amazing life story. Very different from the usual autobiographies.

I think I'll have to get this. I have just finished Vicky Coren's book, and enjoyed despite a suspition she really is rubbish at poker

Funnily enough I have just started that book!
She is pretty gash at poker - although she won $500,000 tourney, so let luck be a lady! Mind you I don;t rate Miss Oberstraad too highly, although some think she is a genius. I think HArriet Harman is the best of the fairer sex from what I have seen. |

Jenny Harman is so far ahead of other women its a joke! the only owmen who coudl ever hold her own on High Stakes poker and against all the top cash players

good lad, used to be mad into his greyhounds and still goes the odd time. was in shelbourne derby final night

Yeah he was a trainer and adores the hounds. He is still deeply shocked to this day over the mass slaughter of slow pups he saw whilst working in the States. Not long after he was on the streets homeless and in trouble with the law. Gripping stuff and he does come across as a top bloke as well as being a superb player.
