and i seem to have forgotten the rule that u have to sit down at a table with full buy in otherwise it wont let you win all ins
By:
maybe its the withdrawals i made, we all know u get a downswing after withdrawals getting beat by lesser hands
By:
or maybe its just coz betfair is corrupt i dont know:

Shortstacker sc um :)
By:
whether i play full stack or short stack, or put any amount allowed onto a table, should that mean i get treated differently? no course not, so why does it seem that u get ya money in, albeit low and you get a call from a lesser hand, sometimes much lesser, and the bigger stack their few outs. and i know everyone has felt the withdrawal cause, it happens to everyone

i have had time to reflect on my unfortunate luck over the last couple of days after not playing from yesterday morning onwards.
I do feel there is major coincidence regarding bad beats so soon after withdrawals, and quite abit of luck when first depositing after a while. There are days when you can sit there and the cards come over and your ahead when you can say to yourself "I know he/she is going to hit" and they do. Somedays you hit, somedays you dont. It posed me with an interesting couple of questions on the topic of withdrawals: When people are withdrawing how much do they withdraw at a time? Do you wait to reach a certain level? Do you withdraw back down to a certain level each time? Do you just withdraw only when you actually need the money to buy/pay for something? After you have withdrawn a large sum, does the withdrawal theory of getting no luck and bad beats come into your mind if you have a bad beat soon after withdrawal? |

U people obviously have no idea of how variance works... just because you get your money in ahead does not mean its always going to win.... if you are 70-30 favourite the law of averages says you should win 70% but over what size sample??? you could easily lose in that situation 50 times in a row.. long term if u get your money in ahead it should even out but still there are no guarantees to say its because of a withdrawal curse is ridiculous....

hardly say i played em bad, the KK, the table had been aggressive, almost always a raise, i got the raise i wanted and got my money in
Yes the K6 was a bad play pre flop I was on tilt after bad luck on the table Nothing wrong with the two AK hands, was dominating both times and got unlucky. The KQ, called the flop to see if he had the Ace, when the Q came i had to bet the turn. Committed when he pushed the river, could i really expect the 8 to help him? |
