Did this at work and it was hugely popular.
Ran over 10 Saturdays, you each pick a premier league team if they win you go to the next round if they draw or lose you are out. Here's the catch, you can only pick each team once throughout the period.
Last Man Standing wins the pot, we had 120 entrants at work and it only lasted 4 weeks before we were down to just two and they decided to share the prize pool. Man City let everyone down on numerous occasions, I went out first week when Sunderland drew 2-2 with West Ham at home.
If enough people are interested (only need 10) I'll run this for everyone and can just put the money into a starz account til a winner is decided.
Sign in if interested and if we get enough we'll start it for next Saturdays fixtures.

You're meant to pick a team NOT to lose, trying to pick a winner each week is the reason that it only lasts a few weeks. Although if that is what you want then picking a winner will do it, and seeing how 'we' are some of the worst tipsters then this would probably last 3 weeks tops. :)

You got the rules wrong mate, two people cannot share it that is why it is called last man standing If you have 2 or 3 left and they all pick a loser then the money rolls over to the next and everyone pays in again. This works really well because even when you are out you have something to cheer on as your money is not dead until there is one man left standing. HTH |

Looks like we have plenty of interest so I'll start this for next week. $20 entry sent over Starz, I personally don't have a** account that will accept transfers but if it's the only way some people can sort the money then I'll find a trustworthy person who can accept them. All money will go to the prize winner but when we're down to 2/3 I will give them the option of a chop if they so wish. I'll post the fixtures for next Saturday up and everyone can send their picks to me. I'll start that on a new thread. Can anyone offer a** account to store some of the cash in? |

Dont think putting pics on a thread will work in last few weeks when down to a few left. One of the attractions of the one we do at work is noone knows selections meaning the last 2 can go out together with same selection and then a Doubler for all :D
