As i previously said maybe she wasnt trying to win its not like it was an ept final is it ;-)

So, I haven't read her poker book ( Slack of me because I know most of the characters in it )

its actually cleverly done in that a page or so at the end of each chapter is used to describe a hand from the final table, so the further you get through the book the more the FT plays out to her win.
like you and most buying/reading the book, id expect it would be for the other bits not the ept win
