It wasn't a case of that. At least 4 gyms near me, could just go for cheapest or nearest etc, but I'm single, would it be worth looking into it further?

3 or 4 times a week for 2 years and you might have a body like mine, altho probably with a smaller c0ck :)
Going to the gym is a no-brainer. You'll be fitter, healthier, more alert, more attractive and get a better quality of b0ner.If you struggle for motivation, try and go with a mate or have a gym at home too, if you have the room.If you've got the bu
Not really interested in beefing myself up. I'm 6ft, 14 stone 5. Was nearly 16 stone back in July, but after going on a real bender for my birthday, decided I couldn't carry on like I had been and just decide to cut down on my eating and drinking and now I'm this weight. When I had a trial of a gym I quite enjoyed the treadmill, the rest of it didn't do a lot for me, but I suppose if anyone worked me a circuit out tho, it would be better. I haven't been feeling myself this year, Father been very ill and looking after him plus trying to juggle a business has taken its toll. I thought healthy body equals healthy mind, plus I'm single at the moment and just wondered about a gym maybe killing two birds with one stone. My local gym which is part of a tennis club is only a couple of hundred quid a year and I can walk to it if I want. Alternatively there is a gym as part of a hotel/leisure complex, which is probably a bit more expensive, more glamourous, but I have to drive. Thanks for the feedback.

If you've got a stressful life then even more reason to join the gym. The first few weeks will be hard but you'll find you invariably start eating more healthily and drinking less, then one morning you'll look in the mirror and notice the difference which will give you a massive confidence and motivation boost.
You need to give yourself as few reasons as possible to duck out of going regularly so if the gym near you is nice, clean, modern and with decent equipment then you should maybe give that one a shot.
I don't do classes but if you want to meet women at the gym, classes are probably the best option. They tend to be mixed groups and probably a bit more sociable than the free-weights section :)
You should mix up any program you're doing but if you plan to spend a lot of time on the treadmill, it's worth investing in a decent pair of running shoes if you want to avoid shin splints.

I do my running outside rather than in the gym but that's only cos I wear one of these and I'd look like a complete bellend in the gymhttp://www.bodyactive-online.co.uk/Shopping/pdreebok-ironvest.asp
I've got a plate in one of my ankles where I got run over. I find I can handle running on a treadmill, more give, than running on a road. Treadmill you can set targets, distances etc. Plus, who wants to be running outside at moment? It's been horrendous where I am.

I go to the gym 3 - 4 times a week and it's a must if playing alot of poker. However I did get a life time ban from one gym for punching a hole in the seat of a pec deck. I had just taken a 2 outer bad beat 8 minutes earlier.
The meeting lovely ladies is a tough one. If your serious about the gym you shoudn't really be thinking about 'crumpet' everytime you squeeze a rep out. You could do classes for abit of fun too and would stand a much better chance. Why not go for the gym and tennis club. Tennis girls can be hot, but mabe not the right time of year at the mo.
Have you thought about a running club? They have beginner runs and helps if u can look at a tight little peachy ass the whole way.
Good luck with it.

A fit body is a real turn on for women. Do not overdo it, like Arnie, but strive for the body of a swimmer. I have read numerous threads from men wanting girl friends and this is one of the simplest ways to increase your attraction to women. You can't change your face, height etc but you can do this. Not only does it help you to get a girlfriend but you would probably get laid more in a relationship. My last boyfriend had a body that made me go weak at the knees. He helped me doing up my house and when he used to toss a bag of cement onto his shoulder like it was a bag of sugar I used to drag him into the bedroom - although sometimes we never made it there.
