Recieved a letter this morning from Dennis Publications informing that the magazine would ceased to be published. I personally thought this was by far the best in the marketplace and am disappointed that it has come to an end. All subscriptions are to be switched to the much inferior pokerplayer title ...

there are only so many times you can regurgitate the same stuff and put a different high profile players name over it. I can count on one finger the interesting things in these kind of magazines. If you want to read how to play small pairs, or TPTK then use the internet and at least you get to read it when you need/want it. Interviews with pro's are just wallpaper imo, and rarely does anyone say anything out of the box or controversial.

Think they might have struggled to ship enough issues via retailers/newsagents at £3.20 a pop, however was excellent value for subscribers £19.99 / 24 issues. Am not a big fan of poker training sites in relation to the lack of any strategy in low stakes games.
