hi, very good ta, work is surprisingly good, and poker is ok for some extra cash when i get the time to play. not doing what i did in the old days when i worked and played loads which meant getting no sleep and being permanently knackered! hope all is good with you
now murray, i can't see him winning a slam now tbh as he's got the wrist trouble and still can't serve a decent % in the big matches. needs to get better mentally, have better luck with injuries and become more aggressive. will be interesting to see how splitting with his bird affects him. but at least he's not in nadal's shoes i suppose, whose career to me looks pretty much over. shadow of his former self and has no weapons to hurt any of the top players i think del potro can start to rule now tbh |

I'm ok cheers mate. :)
Yeah, always thought Murray was too negative, we had that discussion once when you said he was 'counter puncher' ;) but he definitely needs to become the aggressor against the top players. His second serve is shocking at the moment, but his skill and speed around the court seems to get that out of trouble. And maybe he could 're design' his backhand to compenstate that wrist injury? Really sad about Nadal, it will be an injustice for him and the game if his body can't get him back to the level he was at. I remember saying to you that i thought it was one of Feds attributes how easy he is on his body with his style of play as opposed to Nadals 'hammering' of his joints. I don't have a good 'feel' about Potty, he might just be in peak form at a perfect time in the mens game, but don't see a long term domination. Just my opinion on him. :) |

not as excited about the game now
the only player to really improve this year was del potro and maybe roddick everyone else went baclwards and fed wasn't even that good in the 2 slams he won verdasco and djokovic disappointed too and there doesn't seem to be any youngsters coming through i think a fit del potro can smash most he has stamina issues but his weapons are huge |

Murray's let you down mate, he's the reason why you have fallen out of love with the game, ;)
Supportt the Fed and enjoy the ride to history :) :) |

I think Nadal could get back to his best given some more practice

you having a laugh beckton?

Federer has been quite mediocre this year but people like Murray and Djokovic have failed to up the standard. He wasn't that great at the French Open - Soderling was the best player in the tournment but could not handle the pressure of being in a final.
I don't think Del Potro was that amazing at the US - Federer gave in at emnd and didnt seem bothered. I reckon he will retire next year. |

of course he won't retire next year
he's already pencilled in the london olympics, and anyway, can still beat anyone so no reason to even think about quitting and you don't quit until your 30s unless injured |

fed has just become a father hence his mind not entirely on tennis
