coolh ... they will definitely lock your account.

It happened to me ... i had an old account from years back which i forgot about.

I then won a tournament on my new account, went to withdraw and my withdraw was denied, and my account locked and closed down.

The did give me my winnings though, but moved them to the old account

my advice is dont play on f tilt at all, definately a strange site, never seen so many ridiculous beats as there and there withdrawal methods suck imo..

agree with the ridiculous beats on tilt and its just as bad on starzzz.
got to question whether or not there are as many people playing on these sites that they say there are.

I withdrew using direct wire transfer to my bank last week, it arrived in 2 days compared the the advertised 5. If you know your SWIFT code and IBAN it is easy.

As for beats, lol. Sometimes they go with you as well as against, see JamesBecktons thread from last night for full details.

M, have you found out a way to do it without the bank **ing you on the exchange rate?

I got a better rate from the bank transfer than the credit card route, 1.69 compared to 1.71 on the CC. This was for a $1k payment each time. The BBC were quoting about 1.64, which I didn't think was far enough off for me to worry about. If you were bringing back 10k or more it might be better to send it to a dollar based account and organize the exchange at a better rate.

This is why i say avoid ftilt, they want to make withdrawing difficult so u dont do it, U can deposit with a debit card but cannot withdraw back to it????? so u have to do a bank transfer which although works ok it costs money and also more effort....

I didn't see any difference between withdrawing to a CC or bank transfer, you only have to tell them where to send it and it turns up. I pay the cost to convert from $ to £ because it suits me to play on a site that I have more faith in and more game choice than one where I can deposit and withdraw in £ from a debit card.

Trying to withdraw is a nightmare..Can't use the card I deposited with...and I can't get direct bank transfer to work...just says - "Please try later".

I've just transfered my balance to a mate who they do let withdraw.

I'm done with them.

I deposited on a debit card and have had no problems withdrawing to it. You dont have to wait 2 hours for a sng to start either its great!
