laid a greyhound at 40/1 rather than 4/1 for £222. everything on the machine from 4/1 up to 40/1 obv got hoovered the dog was 2nd the whole way round never more than a length behind. stayed in 2nd at the line. hardest 30 seconds of my life. the graph on bf was very funny to look at. easy £222 made though in the end so it wasnt really expensive.

Few years back had got in a bit of a mess with 22, after river board read KK776, miss clicked 'call any' just as guy bet around £600 (Pot only 80ish too) obviously with worst hand possible I lost, he turned over king, I showed my 22, everyone at table had a good laugh except me.
Now I'm 2 (3 at a push) tables max... |

when spread fair was about tried to lay first 15 runs at 80ish and ended up laying inns runs at 80ih for £50pp. Was at about 4am when the bet was placed and then sat and watched them rack up 300ish.
Thankfully spread fair agreed to void the bet as clearly a palpable error (not something you'd get on betfair) |

When i worked on here full time, we were laying the horses at Pontefract one day. I had a friend at the course and he reported heavy money for one nag so i had 200 on at 14/1. It went into 10/1 and i hit the lay button exactly the time the race went in play. For some reason the lay didnt appear on the screen so i panicked and hit the lay button for another 200 which was taken. Two seconds later the screen showed me that both bets had been laid and the horse bolted up.
