Was wondering if anyone else thinks like this.... went up west end with missus on sunday to do bit of shopping, could not find a parking space anywhere so went to underground car park, havent parked there before but thought the amount they charged ridiculous, cant remember exactly how much it was but for 2-3 hrs prob about £20 at least. this annoyed me as i know u can park on yellows for free on sunday if u can find a space, so i decided to drive round and look for a free space, after about half hour and some moaning from her i found a space...... Yes i know im a tight **** but it just got me thinking, i will happily throw 100s back and forward at a cash table and dont mind paying 100, 200 on a tourney entry, but the thought of paying 20 quid to park my car gives me a sleepless night....... Anyone else like this?.......
I would go to a fair effort to avoid paying £20 for a couple of hours parking tbh. Although I get free parking when I go in to town, anywhere else I pay if it is reasonable, if not I find places to park on the public highway that do not comply with the law and contest any ticket. I'd say 1 in 20 places are non compliant.

On any normal day £20 to park in west london prob aint expensive, but i knew sunday u could park for free, to be honest it would of been worth it to save an extra half hour driving round and the moaning... I just think its crazy how me and probably most poker players think away from the table the money seems more important....

on the table all it gives you is a temporary high (when you expect to win anyway) or a massive feeling of disappointment and shame.
